Rematch is totally unnecessary but Id take Marquez again by knockout.

Marquez by KO in less time. I think Diaz has a promising future and will be a great fighter at 135 but he hasn't shown the ability to drastically change his game plan over the course of a fight. Unless Baby Bull can switch things up, JMM has already figured him out.

I ask cause I thought I read Diaz was looking to go again. I would go with Marquez as well but Diaz had a lot of success in that fight and then just crumbled. So the chance for redemption in my opinion is there.

Maruez would have to be favored but via ko is no given. Had Diaz never sustained that cut he probably would not have gotten koed.

I think he surprised JMM with his speed and perhaps even power (maybe JMM was under the impression he was completely feather fisted) and a lot of his success came from that. I think JMM was the first to make adjustements and when he did, he won the fight.

If Juan Diaz can't do the same, it'll be the same fight except shorter.

JMM is such a smart boxer, in a rematch JMM would have him figured out already from round 1. Wide UD or KO again.

I agree Diaz would go sooner if he did not make adjustments.

JMM already has him figured out. I dont think Diaz has the skill set to overcome JMM. If he had more power it would be different. Thats the only reason Pac can hang with JMM because at any moment he can Knock JMM down. Its not to say he has no power but he just doesnt have enough to make JMM be wary at all times so he can unleash those crazy uppercuts.

Marquez by stoppage. Diaz's best chance to win the fight is to take the same approach he had in the first fight. If he holds back a little and tries to punch and move, he'll be KO'd in a worse way. Marquez would be fresher and have more fire power to cut loose.

I like Diaz and thought he gave a great account of himself.I just cant see him beating Marquez if they fought again,i think he would make it another great fight to watch but come unstuck in pretty much the same way.I think Diaz still has a lot to offer the sport but he should pursue another line for now and make some money before going for a rematch. If he took a Marquez fight straight away it would probably be the end of his career.
