From what I've seen of you, Axe Man, you aren't interested in discussion anyway so there probably isn't any point in talking to you. It's your way and only your way and you're going to scream it from the rooftop. I suppose I'd be smarter to take the advice "Do not feed the trolls".

That said, being a professional athlete is pretty different than most jobs, and I'm willing to bet that the job you don't like isn't as a professional athlete. Athletes live and die by certain things - for some it's the thrills and rushes they get, for some it's the money they make, for some it's being unbeaten/flawless.

Floyd's attitude, it seems, is about being flawless. As a professional athlete any distraction (I.E. he doesn't love the sport anymore, pending divorce although Mosley didn't seem bothered) could be the tiny thing that changes him from flawless to flawed. Since his whole life is wrapped up in flawless, he can see his lack of desire as a weakness that could be exploited, and that would ruin his own perception of himself.

This belief of mine comes because I believe that Floyd is actually a sad, hurt little boy inside the grownup body. I think he has a very poor self-image and he's trying to make up for it with all the bling and glamour of being an undefeated star. Since fighting again is a threat to himself, he's not going to want to do that. His ego matters more to him than money.

You have the right to not like the way he thinks, that's fine. Most of us who have never been offered big bucks would gladly take 10 million to lose, but we aren't Floyd.

 

Every fighter retires at some point. What I would do makes no difference. I'd fight for 10K win or lose. I don't expect Floyd to do it. If you already have more money than you can spend 10 million isn't that significant to you. what can he buy with another 10 million that he can't buy today?

To say you hate PBF, you sure do talk about him alot. You make at least 1 thread a day just to talk about him. He probably used to punk you back in high school.

 

Good thing you added that peice in b/c it might cost you a few million to give you a new face and set of insides after Tyson got threw with you. Then again, you could take a dive like alot of his opponents did in the early 90's...
