Who would've given PBF a tougher fight? Cotto or Marg?

I say Cotto because he combines the physical element that frustrates PBF along with the skill element. Marg is huge but i see PBF pot shotting him and moving away. Plus, PBF has some pop.

    Thoughts?

    Cotto-Floyd is a toss up

    Floyd-Margarito is a mismatch

Cotto...Margo is too slow. You see Cotto was boxing his head off. What go you think mayweather would do. That and Mayweather has excellent stamina so he wouldnt tire like Cotto did and would pop shot Margo all night to a lopsided UD. Cotto on the other hand would give Mayweather his toughest fight to date. He can box well and apply adequate pressure. I think Mayweather would win tho. If it went to the cards i say he wins by SD, either that or he would catch Cotto sometime in the fight as he did Hatton.

Cotto; Margarito was already, as it seemed, outclassed during most of the first six rounds when he fought Cotto. Mayweather is faster and unlike Cotto, he'll tie the Mexican up to keep the fight at his own pace and not fall under the pressure of having to run constantly.

I think the technical ability and speed that Cotto has would make the difference when comparing him to Margarito in facing Floyd. Cotto's chin is much weaker, but i think it will hold up to Mayweather's punches, who although a good hitter, is not a very big puncher at 147.

co-sign....Cotto would take Mayweather to the trenches which is what everybody fan or hater wants to see and Cottos skill would be put to the test as well

damn shame the fight aint happened, i think it had FOTY written all over it

Margarito clearly. Cotto is smaller, with less reach, power, stamina and resilience than Margarito. Cotto is technically a better boxer, but the only way you're going to beat Floyd is through sheer size, strength and tenacity.

Yeah, but will Marg be able to track down PBF? I mean Cotto is a good boxer but not as good as PBF and he was boxing Marg's ears off until he gased. PBF has better skills and stamina.

Cotto just seems like he's got the goods to make it tough on PBF. I still think PBF wins but Cotto's got the skills to go with the tenacity.
