Who would've given PBF a tougher fight? Cotto or Marg?

Margo needs to fight at least 3 times a year and Williams needs to stick with a division and stay there

Cotto. Margarito does not cut off the ring quickly enough against Mayweather. It would be a boring UD for Mayweather.

I think both would give PBF a good scrap but Cotto would ultimatley make it a classic bout. Margo will look strong, determined but pedestrian with his attempts at breaking PBF down. Cotto on the other hand will have his moments, countering well, occassionally reaching the body and jabbing effectively. Styles make fights, obviously Cotto fought the wrong fight against Margo and paid the price in the later rounds. While I give Margo all the credit in the world for persevering through the schooling he was getting a little bit in me understands there where adjustments needed on Cotto's part that would have changed the outcome. On the other hand Margo needs to change nothing...he's a huge, strong, iron chinned welter that lacks the polish and skills that I enjoy watching, but he makes up for it by fitting his body into the division and utilizing his physical attributes to its fullest. Can't hate on that.

For the last time man quit posting vids that don't work. I'm not the only one saying this either. Instead of calling me crazy listen to others who say the same thing as well.

I'd love to see both fights. At first glance you'd think it's Cotto who'd have the better chance, but Margarito just pulled a rabbit out of his ass, so...let's see 'em both fights.

i think cotto would give him a closer fight. margo would make floyd fight the whole fight but floyd is just too good of a boxer.

I used to think it was Cotto, but I'm pretty convinced Margo would be a tougher matchup for Floyd. Margo is a swarming pressure fighter that is bigger than Floyd, has great stamina and a great chin. Margo could force Floyd to fight for 3 minutes of every round and could win on activity. Look at the Hoya vs. Mayweather fight. Hoya is bigger than Floyd and employed a swarming style in that fight. That's not Hoya's style and he still convinced one judge that he won.

Cotto, on the other hand, is smaller than Floyd, has chin issues, defensive issues, and stamina issues. If he tries to box Floyd, he would get embarrassed. If he employed his usual pressure style, he would still be in trouble. He puts a lot of weight on that front foot which makes it hard for him to get out of the way of right hands. We've also seen that is susceptable to uppercuts. Unlike Margo, Floyd would be able to deter Cotto with his power. I see Cotto getting busted up with straight rights and left hooks all night. Even if he's able to trap Floyd on the ropes, Mayweather is great at throwing those short uppercuts. Even worse for Cotto, his best punch is that left hook. Mayweather's shoulder roll defense is best equipped to take away the left hook, to the body or to the head. In this fight, I see Cotto getting busted and backed off with straight rights, having his money punch taken away, and eventually getting fatigued down the stretch. Once you get tired against Mayweather, it's a wrap.

Cotto but i see PBF stopping him late, his defense has too many holes IMO.

Cotto is so open to uppercuts that Mayweather wouldn't even need to train for a fight against him.
