 Where's that photo when I need it..

Margos head put on spidermans body with the saying 80 punches a round = really fast punches

And Margo would be outboxed by Floyd. Margo would be over extending on his punches wasting more energy that normal.

Yeah, but PBF doesn't fight like Mosley in the sense that he's willing to let his hands go. PBF is a very safe and defensive fighter. Like Roy Jones, he could probably be a devastating offensive force if he let his hands go but he's not that type of fighter.

And BTW, i think the Cotto/Mosley fight is one of the best fights in recent memory. Great fight.

Cotto cuts the rings off better than Margo does and PBF would be more inclined to say in front of Cotto more than he would Margo.

Bottom line, you only have your arguement becuase Floyd refused to fight him, turned down 8 Million, got scared when Tony confronted him face to face, started sucking Tonys dick and stuttering like a *****.

Had Tony removed from a public press conference, bottom line, Floyd is affraid of Margarito, if this fight were so easy this fight would have already happend. you cant tell me Hatton is a more dangerous fight than Tony, or that Tony is an easier fight than that if you do your a dumb ass.

Bottom line if the two ever meet when Tony does knock him out we will see whos talking ****

Really? damn for someone who knows how to use the ring it just didnt work against Tony when Cotto fought him you think Tony doesnt know how to cut the ring off? watch that Cotto margarito fight, the pressure Tony put made Cotto Run in spots every time Cotto stood and traded he had to take something in return.

That is also called cutting the ring off son.

Tony was offered a fight and declined it.

    Case closed.

speed doesnt have anything to do with output..

i bet in zab's past 3 fights he has thrown less than 50 punches per round and hes faster than 90% of boxing right now...

Cotto he at least has some skill.

Margarito has no skill and is a flat footed plodder and would get schooled by PBF.

Yes he is faster, but in using that speed he gives up work rate, and with 100 shots per round you have to have some sort of speed to get them off especially when the other man is usally retreating from you which is usally the case with who ever Tony fights.

Tony was offered a fight on what three weeks notice? Floyd tried to pull a fast one at the last min, and even had Tony accepted the offer odds are Floyd would have found a way out of the fight, Floyds actions show he is a coward when it comes to Margarito, he would rather fight Corley Brusseles Judah Hatton Ndou and a old De La Hoya long before he would be willing to face any of the Top current welter weights.

you say he gives it zab gives up work rate because of speed but they dont have anything to do with one another.... work rate is an option
joe calzaghe is fairly fast and he throws a lot of punches as well... same with paul williams... work rate just depends on fighters style

    FIGHTERS Miguel Cotto Antonio Margarito
    TOTAL PUNCHES
    Thrown 655 987
    Connected 280 267
    % 43% 27%
    JABS
    Thrown 260 340
    Connected 101 30
    % 39% 9%
    POWER PUNCHES
    Thrown 395 647
    Connected 179 237
    % 45% 37%

these are the punch stat #'s from cotto - marg

% wise margarito was pretty bad and thats against cotto who isnt very evasive.... i mean im not trying to be argumentative but the fact that he throws 1000 punches per fight doesnt really mean anything when your giving up acuracy its pointless...

but what is this about margarito declining a floyd fight i swear to god ive never heard that before

you would argue that Paul Williams is a more accurate Puncher than Margarito but go and dig up those punch stats you might be shocked, Margarito landed at a much higher rate, paul was limited to about 20 % of his total shots, Punch stats are not accurate at all

Its a tough one, Margarito would just keep coming with floyd moving the whole time and would probably be a boring fight. Unless Margo somehow slows floyd down and can get some good shots in. Cotto has better all around skills but has been hurt before and with Floyds defence he might be able to slip and counter and hurt Cotto.

If having to choose i gotta go with my boy Cotto

    Agreed.

I think Cotto could beat Floyd, Floyd beats Margarito, Margarito beats Cotto.
