Dos Santos has some mean hands probably the best hands in the Heavyweight Division. Velasquez has some insane cardio and good wrestling.

Who do you give a better shot and why?

I say Dos Santos. Velasquez isn't big or strong enough to outwrestle Lesnar, and his punches have little pop. He only wins if he survives and tires Lesnar out. Dos Santos, on the other hand, has a decent shot of catching Lesnar, making him back up, and putting some serious hands on him. Of course, Dos Santos could just as easily get taken down and pounded out.

I reckon Velasquez, I think Brock'd have an easier time getting Dos Santos down and working him, especially from rounds 3-5.

They're both incredibly hard fights....but which is tougher? Well, it's a contrast...Cain has the better chance of keeping Lesnar off him and on his feet, and has a more crisp stand-up game then Lesnar...but doesn't have the KO power of Dos Santos.

Where Dos Santos has some very, very, very good punches, seems okay at keeping it on the feet (so far that we've seen...but we haven't seen him against a very good wrestler), and supposedly is really good on the ground, but Lesnar has a tremendous top game...

So, it all depends on if Lesnar gets them down. If Lesnar can't get Cain there...eh, he's in rough shape, but can survive...

If Lesnar can't get Dos Santos there...he's in some serious, serious trouble...

    Big "if" though.

Both have far better standup than Brock, and I think he has a harder time taking Dos Santos to the ground.

I hope Velazquez knocks the **** out of him though.

Velasquez baby all the way this guy has stamina brock cannot compete with i reckon, his youth and athleticism will also play a major part in cains win, brock is a good wrestler but he is not the athlete cain is

as much as i like JDS as a good boxer nd proud to say he is a boxer first and foremost brock pins him to the floor and gently ****s him up worse than he did mir

damn this fight cain v brock is gona be good

Brock is gonna snap Cain in two. Cain is terribly overrated I see Lesnar grabbing him and simply smashing his face in. Cain is gonna think his stand-up is so great and will stand with Lesnar until Brock hits him, by then it will be too late, Lesnar will land on top and pound the "Brown Pride" outta him. Jr on the other hand I think out strikes him before he gets a chance to take him down.

It is about execution. Both have a good shot. JDS has the equaliser though and this means at any stage of the fight, no matter how good or bad it is, he can close the show.

Pre Roy Nelson i would of quite convincingly said JDS , however after watching Dos Santos's habits and apparent questionable cardio when his opponent doesnt fall over id give the nod to Velasquez .

I happen to think Lesnar (regretably) is Cain's biggest challenge , its just the size issue and the wrestling , it always comes down to that with Lesnar , his wrestling is so good and his freakish size is a horrible horrible combination for a guy who weighs 240 :deal , that said Cain is a freak himself , and if Velasquez can get up off the mat without taking punishment from Lesnar consistently , its a 1 sided fight and Velasquez will stop him in 2 , if Lesnar cannot hurt Velasquez on the ground he's done !!! , but thats a pretty big if , the size of the man and his top game are 2 very scary thoughts for Cain going into this fight .

The way i see a JDS and Lesnar fight going , is similar to Lesnar Mir 2 , Lesnar having no chance on the feet and dragging JDS down and bringing a world of hurt to him there , at least with Velasquez he has that wrestling base where your thinking if Lesnar does secure the TD can he hold Cain and dominate there ???

    Thats my thoughts anyway ..................

JDS has the chance to hurt him standing, but Cain stands the better chance of not getting blown away, whereas JDS could get taken down and put away quickly if things go bad.

I do think Cain would probably beat JDS, due to being hard to finish with big heat, a strong chin, and very technical wrestling based grappling game.

JDS could very well win though, he has certainly been impessive.
