Who you got for GGG v Canelo 2?

I scored the fight 2 rounds to Canelo watching it live and a draw watching it 2nd time around.

GGG is another year older and Canelo will be suffering a post PED hangover. Be another close call but I'm going Canelo on points.

Think Canelo has been quite hurt by alot publicity slaggin him off the way he fought looks as if training like a beast and can see him being far more aggressive in this fight with a point to prove although thinkj he may walk onto a shot or is ggg yr older slowing got a funny feeling this doesn't go distance. Think a Canelo stoppage win is the least likely of all the possible outcomes considering that monster flush punch that had zero effect on GGG. I think Canelo from that moment knows that a stoppage is unlikely too and he’ll box accordingly.

I think GGG wins but whether he’s awarded the fight is another question altogether.

 

agree he took Canelos best suits didn't say who think get no just funny feeling it will be a ko etehr way. Think it will be a great fight as pressuee is on Canelo and if he were to come out and stop ggg (massive if) would he be atg or does the tainted meat alwsys stay with. Him. Yeah seen some comments from Spike earlier where he said that he’s not bothered about Lemieux and is just interested in being ringside after to watch the main event. Obviously those comments will be largely bravado and I’m sure he’s trained hard but I have a feeling Saunders’ schooling of Lemieux has deluded Spike a bit. Lemieux is awful but Spike is hardly an elusive boxer.

I'm going for GGG. Heart maybe overruling my head. Golovkin has to get old someday, hopefully it ain't on Saturday.

 

He did look kinda old, or slower should I say. That said he fought a very determined fight which around 90% of observers thought he won.

Canelo done the cleaner work, just not enough of it. You would think coming in lighter/less bulky would benefit him. He can certainly beat Golovkin to the punch, maintaining it for 12 rounds is another matter.

 

I just can't see how anyone could give Canelo 7 rounds in that first fight. That just seems absurd to me. Canelo didn't do nearly enough work across the rounds to warrant that.

I expect it to be much the same as the first fight. If it goes points they'll likely just give it to Canelo regardless this time. Everyone - rightly - talks about Byrd's card but people forget Trella gave the 7th to Canelo, which was one of the clearest GGG rounds in the fight. I think even Byrd gave him that one. If that round was scored correctly, we get a SD and the fight stinks a whole lot less.

I hope Golovkin wins, I really do. But as people have said, he'll only be slower since the first fight. Canelo's stamina isn't likely to magically get better though, so I expect another jabfest for Golovkin with Canelo occasionally countering emphatically.

 

I’m going to go against the grain. As said above, Father Time catches up with everyone and I think Canelo being younger and fresher could have enough to nick it.

 

Triple G strikes me as the kind of guy who likes to exert justice for the people.
