I am going with Golovkin by stoppage victory. He also won 1st fight clearly by a few rounds.

the first fight was close, i think it was just Byrd's card that caused most of the outrage. There are so many variables attached to this; has father time caught up to GGG? has Caneo slimming down improved his stamina but made him more vulnerable? will GGG unload more, and will his unloading more make him a lot more susceptible to Canelo's counters. I'm thinking its gonna be a close, Canelo UD.

GGG wins and it could be another pongfest if Canelo waits again until 10 secs after the final bell to go on the attack.

Golovkin won the first fight. 2015 Golovkin would destroy Canelo, not to sure about a late 2018 version

Canelo decision. I thought GGG won last time but it was very very close.

Golovkin in about 116-112 type decision. (zero controversy for once)

I’m going to go with the opposite of what I think, since I get most fights wrong these days...

As a fan, hopefully not. I see your logic though.

If I was a bookie I’d still make Golovkin favourite. I’ve just personally got a feeling Canelo sneaks it. No substance in it mind.

Yeah he most certainly could. So many factors to take into consideration for this fight. Not actually sure where I'm watching it yet.

I thought Canelo won first 2 and last 3 with GGG sweeping up everything in between. Canelo did the more eye catching work but GGG showed more effective aggression and ring generalship.

I think GGG now fades in the championship rounds. He did against Canelo and Jacobs. Canelo knows he can take a shot from GGG and knows he has to be more proactive in this fight. I hope GGG wins though.

GGG doesn't mess around this time. I think GGG stops the cheat around the 10th. Can't wait for this fight, the GF is elsewhere on a girlie night out leaving me with no distractions!

Myself? Full English, Ale, Footy (PNE), Ale, Crap Food and Boxing. Sorted!

If it goes the same as the first fight with GGG landing way more jabs and plenty of power shots with Canelo back peddling most of the time before landing short clusters of shots of real clean eye-catching punches then GGG will win a decision they won't rob him twice - this is how it always goes it seems to me

But age is a factor - he was bothered not by Canelos power but by his speed advantage GGG didn't work the body like we know he can. Does he have the punch out of a prime GGG

I'm going GGG by close points decision, Canelo without his 'roids could be missing something from the photos i've seen he looks less thick set, it could mean his stamina is better (but he's always been a bit once paced so i doubt it) or he takes punches less well which is more probable.

Let's just hope it's not a controversial draw or something

I hope GGG knocks the cheat out! But he will probably be on some new drug! Seen that they have been working on body shots in the hope of slowing canelo down. Hope he catches canelo like he did Macklin

Rewatch the Brook fight, against slicksters GGG looks a bit clumsy and slow, and he did against Kell until he shattered his orbital bone. GGG throws purposely slow/off-aim shots just to keep the opponent honest IMO. He has enough experience and a good enough chin not to care if he gets caught with the odd counter.

A slimmer, lighter Canelo will dazzle at times no doubt and possibly ease his way to a points victory and put on a masterclass although it will really have to be something else but it wouldn't surprise me.

On the other hand it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if GGG catches him with enough of those looping, round the guard bodyshots and slows him down enough to back him into corners.
