Im rooting for Taylor and voted for Taylor, he is clearly the superior boxer. However, Froch has a punchers chance.

Froch holds his hand too low and will be getting Taylor's jab popped in his face all night. He'll be able to take the punches but will most likely get outboxed to a points loss. All he has to do is take his mind off Calzaghe and try and break Taylor's rhythm and maybe he can swing it. He lunges and looks awkward doing it unfortunately, and Taylor will be able to see those punches coming a mile away.

What makes you assume that anyone picking Taylor is doing so with "blind" optimism?

Personally I favor Taylor to win but realistically Froch has a decent chance in this fight; I've said so from the beginning. I'd hate to see it happen, but it wouldn't shock me.

You should know you cant know everyone out mate. A peak Mike Tyson was taken the distance by B level fighters like Tony Tucker and Bonecrusher Smith.

Can you really imagine Carl Froch being taken to a split decision v Cory Spinks or not being able to KO Kassim Ouma?

Furthermore, raher like Froch himself, Pascal has been a very avoided fighter. No one any good has been very keen on fighting him other than Froch.Marks my words, Pascal will win a world title at LightHeavy in the not too distant future

Despite what others may say Cory Spinks is a very slick boxer and its rather hard to plus if you're on your bike all night like Spinks was its rather hard to catch up to him...Ouma is a very durable fighter.

Its easy to nitpick through ones resume...I'm not the one picking who's picking Taylor to Ko Froch...Its you guys that are picking Froch to KO Taylor which I seriously dont see.

You only boosting Pascal up because Froch has beaten him...This is the same Pascal that ran from dear life from Edison Miranda!:rofl Nuff said!

I can see Spinks sticking and moving on Froch all night long; if Taylor could barely catch the man, he would give Froch MAJOR problems. It's not all about punching power.

Please stop - Pascal avoided Miranda, for chissakes.

And winning a world title at LHW is not that impressive considering if he does so it will be over Diaconu.

The fact is, if you look at who Pascal has beaten, his resume is ****.

it's a really difficult fight for me to pick, it's hard to lean one way or the other. Taylor really is ripe for the picking at this weight. I somewhat doubt he's mentally into fighting that much anymore. His skills are in still in tact, he's not an elite at this point, but he has enough on skill alone to beat Froch. However, I don't think he'll be able to withstand a real fight, a real test, i think he crumbles and gets knocked out.

Pavlik did not knock Taylor out with one shot. He had to break him down. Froch wont and cannot land enough shots to do this. Froch cant even put a good combination together. He is a one punch hail mary haymaker thrower. Taylor usually does not get hit with those kind of punches. If Froch was a physical guy and put a lot of pressure on Taylor and was a fighter to put work in like a Glen Johnson style then he would win. But he is a goofy fighter with no rhythm or gameplan. That would work for fighters that rush into you chin in the air with no jab, but JT has a good long range game. Froch is getting boxed up and shipped back to Europe.

Glen Johnson would beat the **** out of Taylor now that I think about it. That would be a guy he should not never fight.

Froch will stop him late. He better. If HBOs poster boy is standing at the final bell, he probably gets another gift.
