haha yeah he does, I was thinking then that you must be mad because he doesn't look like him, but in that pic, it's the way his eyes are, he looks like him loads there!
Foreman was funny and unpredictable. Sometimes he said ridiculous things. And sometimes he was spot on. Foreman always kept you guessing what's he's gonna say next I think Steward is ok. Although the way both Kellerman and Steward hyped Linares in the first rounds of Demarco fight throwing names of Robinson and Duran was simply ridiculous. Thank god the fight went just as Steward expected
Foreman, I honestly just think he's a mental case some of the **** he says. Remember when he decided he hated Lampley live on air? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLtyKffXp4s[/ame] "You should be cool on that."
Read somewhere that Toney commentated some Braithwaite (?) fight. And it went something like this: - What do you think of Braithwaite's footwork, James? - It's trash. - What do you think of Braithwaite, James? - He's trash. After Braithwaite wins by knockout: - What do you think of Braithwaite now, James? - He's still trash. Don't know if it's true.
I love toney as a fighter think hes a funny guy too says what he wants, Jones style wasnt so interesting for me but he seems like a good guy, i think he does a great job on hbo..
I found Jones more fun to watch, because he was SO special. Never seen speed and explosiveness like that before. Ever.
When Jones pulled off the win against Ruiz I thought it was brilliant - and a vindication of real boxing talent over adversity and size - for a guy not much bigger than me to go in there and make a fool of a not small heavyweight who was known to be awkward to fight and difficult to beat and difficult to look good against - Jones had the balls to go on there and do it and that moment when he punch the air coming up to the last bell I was like "yes!! You feckn showed those assholes Roy!! Feckn brilliant!!" I was chuffed to bits - actually probably more 'chuffed' than I've been at any other heavyweight result in my lifetime - felt proud for him - so for that fight gotta go with Roy personally - but Toney is also one of my favourite ever fighters to watch too
:rofl:rofl I prefer Toney he seems to be a much more genuinly sound guy and a great laugh. I rekon Roy is a very nice guy and all that but he dosent seem to be as flat out mad as Toney. Theres a quote of Roys that I love though, I cant remember his opponent but the guy was syaing I'm a better technician than Jones, I can fight in the pocket etc... Roy was like, 'Yeh, he can do all that, but I'm better'
