Froch can't afford to wait around like he did against Taylor though.... even against Dirrell, I'm really looking forward to mre details.

I can't believe all the hype Kessler gets around here for no good reason. One of the two young americans will win it all if the tourney ever gets completed.

That is a very fair and balanced post. Keep that kind of **** off of ESB!!!!

    Okay -- just kiddin'!

You made some good points. A couple of things that many people want to ignore are these points. 1) Abraham's defense is very over rated. That philly shell looks good when you're fighting guys who were knocked out by Raymond Joval or Kassim Ouma, but it's largely untested. Jermain throws hard-fast-accurate combinations, so that is about to change. 2) The two guys who beat JT are nothng like Abraham. You beat Jermain by walking him down, and not giving a **** if you get beat up doing. Arthur does not fight like that. When he does come forward he throws a lot of wild ass haymakers, and he drops his hands clear down by his waist while doing that. Against a guy who can counter like JT, that won't work.

In my opinion this fight is all about how much Jermain has left. If he can still fight like he did in the Pavlik rematch, he'll beat Arthur easy. If he loses this he should drop out and retire.

I doubt that. All six will be contracted to fight under the tournament banner. If they want to fight outside the tourney they would be sued for breach of contract

    I'm going with Dirrell.

I think he will be the only one to remain undefeated.

Very tricky to pick the winner. Kessler's the obvious choice but just how good is he really? Froch has two better wins than anything on Kessler's record.

I haven't seen anything of Ward or Dirrell so very difficult to judge, although respected judges think they are a little too green at this point. Dirrell hasn't even been 12 rounds yet, and 10 rounds only once.

I've never been convinced with Abraham with all those typical German defences. He was strong at 160 but looks tiny besides Kessler and Froch.

If Taylor is really up for it, he'll be a handful for any of them, although I wonder how much desire he has left.

My prediction would be a Kessler/Froch final, although I wouldn't be surprised if any two made it to the final

Already building up excuses, how predictable...but what will you say if AA blows Taylor out in 6 and JT goes on to defead ward and has a good showing against Kessler?

My pick: Kessler, not sure who else will be in the final. I'm pretty sure that Kessler will win all 5 though.
I think Direll might be the big loser. I'm not convinced of his chin and Froch,AA for the first 2 fights is a hugh step-up...

    My guess

    Abraham beats Taylor
    Kessler beats Froch
    Kessler beats Abraham
