Yes, but I think Guzman is preparing with Jeff for the Arthur fight. I'm not sure, I might be very wrong.

I think Roach is a very calm trainer, whilst all the Mayweather clan talk around 300 words per minute, how the **** are you supposed to take in any of that?

Last week we were hearing that Manny Steward was useless because one of his fighters lost, now it is Freddie Roach!

    Who next week, McGirt?

Jeff Mayweather is taking over training duties for Guzman - in a temporary role while Sr. gets DLH ready for Forbes.

It doesn't matter what Mayweather is doing the trainer ... they all have simular training styles. I think that each individual has their own specialty, but when it comes down to it the same message is getting across.

Sr is the better trainer than Roach ... focusing on fundamentals and defense ... but overall I would take Uncle Roger over both.

i think the point of the thread was would you rather had a talkative trainer or a calm one. Well i'd prefer mayweather sr., i tend to perform well if i was yelled at and under pressure

    Mayweather trains only one style.

If that style doesn't work for me against a particular opponent, I'm ****ed, just like Gatti was against Floyd.

Roach is more versatile and if the smartest man aside from maybe James Toney, (Bernard Hopkins), chooses Roach as his trainer, and considering his record of improvments, I gotta go with him over Sr.
