    Where is the draw option?

Pernell Whitaker vs. Wilfredo Rivera I: 115-115 Draw
    Whitaker: 1,3,5,8 and 9.
    Rivera: 6,7,10,11 and 12.
    Rounds 2 and 4 even.

How the hell does Scientist smell these Whitaker threads brewing..........seems like he's always the first to respond to them.

This fight was'nt even close. Rivera used his height and reach to clearly outbox and outfight Whitaker.
Rivera won the fight clearly imo.

......but funny that the strongest of Pernell fans dont even put this fight as a mention when it comes to posting controversial decisions.:D

I feel a draw option would give some here an easy way out so as not to be confrontational with others. And unless its absolutely necessary I don't hardly score any rounds as even. I don't have my round by round scorecard but I watched this fight last night and I gave Rivera rounds 1 and 4.

I agree Divac, Rivera won this fight clearly and funny thing is that it wasn't a difficult fight to score at all.

Yeah Scientist, I've often said around here that though I scored Chavez-Whitaker a draw, if I had to ultimately chose a winner, I'd have to give it to Whitaker based on that he was the winner of the two most telling rounds of that fight.

Who would you make the winner if you had to chose just one fighter?

Rivera clearly landed the most telling blows of the fight and most of the rounds, I dont think you could argue that?

You would have to give Chavez every close round I think & even then, Whitaker never lost any round clearly & won 3 rounds very big himself... rds 3, 7 & 8.

Even the 2nd fight was very close i thought Pernell won but not by much. I forgot what i scored it but not any more than 2 point difference in the 2nd fight.

You say Whittaker was starting to slide well:think Put it this way Rivera had the style that would have given any Pernell trouble.
Pernell was starting to decline but not that much he was still at about 90% when he fought Rivera.

Rivera finished the stronger, so he looked the winner at the end. There weren't many 'big rounds' in the fight as far as I remember. It was quite the stinkfest the whole way through.

You watched it last night but don't have your round by round? What happened to it?

Anyone else going to bother putting up a scorecard for this fight or are we all just going to claim it was a robbery?
