In january Joshua faces Kevin Johnson, lets hope Kingpin gives him some rounds. After that fight he should step up, but I guess the opponets will be like Audley Harrison, Malik Scott or Liakovich. I think he should fight guys like Jennings, Ruiz Jr or Thompson. Who'd you like to see Joshua fight in next year?

Logically- Kevin Johnson, Naggy Aguileria, Derric Rossy and Steve Cunningham would be a good level of fighters to test himself against.

2016- The Best Britain (Price, Fury- Chisora winner, Hate)

    2017- The World

Can't see need in Aguilera and Rossy tbh, should go after someone from Cunningham, Charr, Szpilka, Boytsov, Monsour after Johnson if upset doesn't happen there.
Lots of fighters to pick from that will give needed expirience, then maybe pick some from Chambers, Perez, Arreola, Glazkov, Chisora.

He shouldn't be rushed like Price was and thrown in against a top contender, it will only be his 2nd year as a pro.

I'd like to see him kept busy, so that will mean some fights will be against journeymen between the more testing fights. I'd like to see him face a variety styles to test different aspects of his game.

Charr would be a good opponent after Johnson. He doesn't hit hard, has a decent chin, will come to fight and will put AJ under some pressure. His poor defence could also allow AJ to look good and land some big shots.

Malik Scott would be another good choice. He's got some speed and in terms of skill is better than anyone AJ has fought so far. He would make AJ chase him and force him to cut off the ring. He also doesn't have a big punch so is a safe but live opponent that will bring the best out of AJ and ask him some questions.

A fight with a similar sized opponent would be good as well. Maybe Price if he keeps winning or Wach. Big men who have a big punch. Price would be a safer fight due to his poor chin and stamina.

If AJ can beat this level of opponent then 2016 he can then start to make a serious run at the title and begin facing serious contenders. The Pulevs, Povetkins etc.

Joshua needs to get more experience. Guys like Charr, Abell, Oquendo, Pianeta, Leapai would be good for 2015. He should make 4-5 fights.

I think Price could be too dangerous. Price lands a single big right hand and it could be all over. I would take the Oquendos and Leapais of this world over Price.

Rossy is good fight. Big and looked decent against Glazkov he deserves another respectable fight. Then he should move onto the loser of the Fury/Chisora fight.

Charr or Boystov would be ideal after Kingpin

Scott could cause some real problems for Joshua if he couldn't get him out of there quickly. Too risky at this point.

Him facing guys like Jennings and Ruiz won't happen until after they have lost to someone. It's not lucrative for any of the parts involved yet.
Looks like AJs progression is going well at the moment. Very decent opposition this early. Think they would be wise to maybe slow it down a little. Limit him to about 4 fights next year.
Something about him tells me he will fold under real pressure, though. Don't know what it is, just feels like it when i see him.

Kevin Johnson, Manuel Charr, Alex Lepai, Malick Scott, Eddie Chambers, Steve Cunningham then eliminator with Price/Fury/Chisora then world title attempt if he comes through that unscathed.

Could do all of that in the next two years.
