No, it's possible of course. 70/30 Usyk UD. He did better the second time around with AJ; he's seen the best of Fury some knows what he's up against. Fury is not a mystery to him now. And remember he took a massive uppercut from Fury that he admits he was seeing stars.
I would argue Fury is more versatile and capable of adapting than AJ is. The second fight might be even closer. Of course Usyk is just as capable of making the right adjustments too, it'll be very interesting to see them clash in December.
Round eight was a big one in the first fight. Fury was starting to dictate, standing his ground more, landing to the body, hurt Usyk with some uppercuts. Then he left himself wide open in round eight. Usyk landed some big left hands in the eighth and Fury went rapidly downhill from there. It didn't feel dissimilar to the Bellew fight. Usyk quietly but effectively putting on a huge amount of pressure, which physically and perhaps mentally is very difficult for a lot of these big guys to cope with for 12 rounds. They start breaking down and Usyk is so quick and precise to finish them or at least pull away on points. So I don't think Fury can box Usyk. I think he has to stand his ground more, go toe to toe, target the body, push Usyk back, lean on him, spoil a bit etc. Sort of like he did against Cunningham and at times in Wilder II and III. Can he take a shot like he used to though?
Usyk ate those uppercuts and rights like candy Fury got rocked badly by a straight left from a Middleweight
I meant Usyk adapted in the second AJ fight and can make adjustments vs Fury 2. Fury definitely made changes in Wilder II by coming in heavier and using that weight on the front foot to drain Wilder. He probably should do that against Usyk, but surely Usyks team will understand this and figure out a way of defending against this tactic.
I have the feeling Usyks team may enter this one a little complacent. There's only so many game plans you can take into the ring. This fight is ultimately Usyks to lose, it'd be a huge mistake underestimating a Fury with zero to lose.
Usyk by KO. Fury came in at the best possible condition he could, and he still gassed out and was getting badly hurt. Fury realized he was losing the fight after the first four or so rounds and started looing for the stoppage. He put all he could in the following round and gassed himself out in the process. What led up to Fury getting his clock clean were a series of arm punches with no steam on them that Usyk countered. Fury's once God-tier recovery ability is gone, his chin is now ground down to a numb, his boxing abilities are gone as he cant bounce around like he used to, and his power has seemingly stagnated.
Hey mate, are you putting your life savings and mortgage/homes etc on usyk? I have never seen a poster so confident In a pick I was less confident of Floyd beating conor than you are with this fight and I bet the odds are much closer All trolling aside, if you feel that strongly you should put every single penny you can on usyk. I wish I had that confidence in a pick, I would make a fortune I can't wait to come back to you in December and say you knew it all along. Every time I think Fury has a chance, your posts reminds me that he was seriously outclassed and it's impossible to win a rematch I may even bet all too on usyk!
Correct. fury needs to go back to his old style. Problem is that he is older and can’t move for 12 rounds any longer!
