But if we're talking about the weakest of all time... isn't this exactly determined by h2h hypotheticals? Nowhere in your opening post do you talk about achievements in your own time... which has nothing to do with how weak or strong you are compared to other champions across eras. Who was the best (or worst) champions, if we're talking about achievements and domination in your own era - now that's an entirely different discussion!
We are talking about the weakest champion of all time, hence my points. I didn’t need to, it was implied. This is not a h2h post nor has it ever been. Saying Hart or Willard is the worst heavyweight champion is just all wrong. They achieved far more than guys like Martin and Stiverne. The weight class has changed so much that these guys would not be heavyweights today anyway.
I think his life was pretty messed up by the time he started his career, and it certainly was at the time he fought Bent.
Its been made clear several times throughout the thread....just some folk refuse to take note of it in order to push their own agenda
Am I reading this right, that Usyk is the worst HW champ in history? Good grief. He won the belt and beat the previous CHamp twice in like his 4th/5th fight as HW. You cant call him the worst because he has only had 4 or 5 fights at the weight and a couple of tune ups before beating the champ?!
For the length of his reign then wilder has to be close. Can't really count one hit wonders at least they did the right thing and didn't last very long wilder was carried for years like rocky before he fought clubber lang.
