Whoa, Fury-Whyte scorecards

I thought Fury won every round, but you could reasonably give Whyte the first (but I thought Tyson won it) and it wouldn't be a total travesty to give him the second (but it would be a 95% travesty).

 

The first round was a basic both fighters not doing much round. I scored it for Fury but I could see that round going to Whyte.

It's called charitable donation. Unwritten rule to be generous in early rounds to a hopelessly outclassed opponent. Make it slightly less humiliating for him if it goes full length, when the scores are read out. Something for his mother to be proud. If he doesn't get knocked out, like he did.

 

No mother could be proud of Dillian Whyte.

 

It was a come from behind KO.

 

I watched this **** fight again. Dillian has a case for 1 round.. If you push it to max in terms of generosity, 2. But I think 1 round for Whyte.. The first. Fury had a few shots hit Whytes forearms and had a right hand land towards the end of the round. There were a few inside glove slaps from Fury which is not clean punching. Whyte landed 2 or 3 bodyshots I believe which were cleaner and more impactful than anything Fury landed.

 

One judge actually gave Whyte both rounds 2 and 3. Absolutely disgusting, part of me thinks they were trying their best to rob Fury if it went the distance.

 

It was a shut out near enough.

Terrible cards.

 

Personally, I gave the first round to Whyte, and the rest to Fury.

 

They're not going to rob the guy who can fill Wembley stadium with 95,000 seats....

....unless they were angling for a rematch.

 

Most rounds were close and sloppy. But I had Fury 4 to 1 up going into the 6th.
It didn't seem like either fighter was really in control though, and the KO punch came out of nowhere for me.

 

I had a party to go to during the fight but still watched it without sound on my phone. Thought Whyte was doing pretty good backing up fury and landing better shots here and there. I didnt think it was a shutout but saw fury getting better as the fight went on. 2 of the first 4 for whyte isnt crazy in my opinion.
