Pac v Margarito was brutal because Pac had illegal loaded gloves. They showed the fiasco scene when Pac was getting wrapped, Robert Garcia complained to the commission that he saw inserts being placed in Pac's wraps and requested them to re-wrap, but the commission refused so there was controversy. That's why they had a mini-concert before their fight because Team Pac knew there was going to be a delay.

Margarito had to "throw the fight", but he didn't realize that Pac was going to use illegal loaded wraps till right before the fight when they were in the dressing rooms. That's why Margariro countered by drinking some powdered liquid in front of Team Pac, to counter with mind games.

 

Pac vs Brandon Rios was also a FIXED/STAGED fight where Rios faked his performance and missed on purpose to give Pac a fake win.

Margarito didn't have loaded gloves in the 1st fight with Cotto.
Cotto's then lead cornerman/trainer-Evangelista Cotto (his cousin or uncle) watched Margarito's hands being wrapped and saw nothing illegal.
Evangelista is a top notch trainer from Puerto Rico and knows his craft pretty well. He cleared Margarito's wrappings and the fight went on, that Margarito was just the better fighter.
In their rematch, the Margo-Cotto II fight was FIXED/STAGE, cause Margarito "threw the fight" in exchange for keeping his license and a payday. Watch the replay and see Margarito had Cotto against the ropes and threw punches in the air and missed on purpose.

Pac vs DelaHoya was FIXED too.
DelaHoya faked it and voluntarily quit on the stool. He wasn't hurt, was not tired. Was clearly alert and relaxed and looked at his corner to signal them to stop the fight, to give his fighter-Pac, whom he promoted at that time and during the fight!!!, a fake win.
Boxing is a business, not a sport, so fight fixing is made to make more money is subsequent bouts.
