Man this is a toss up. Foremans brute strength and Holmes Pole ax jab

I look at the stamina and I give it to Larry but who knows with Big George

Holmes, UD. It probably wouldn't be that difficult a fight for Larry. He's mobile, has a great chin.

I don't think for a second it'd be easy- Holmes never beat anyone close to that caliber easily and had tough fights with guys who weren't in Foreman's league. He better hope he doesn't have a lapse like in the Shavers fight- Big George wouldn't let him off the hook.

Would've been a great fight, though. I'd make Holmes the 55/45 favorite.

Foreman only came up against a really mobile fighter once in his first career and Jimmy Young outboxed him thoroughly. He was past his absolute best, but what is Young to Holmes?

Holmes has better mobility, generalship and punching.

Hey, why not? If Fenech and Azumah can still pull a fight off, why not go the next rung up the seniors ladder? :D

Foreman wins this hands down. He had an underrated jab and was twice as strong as Holmes ever thought about being and hits alot harder. He would punish Holmes at close quarters and eventually beat him into submission and I'm saying thing as a big fan of both.

Last time George said no, he said his wife wouldn't let him. I don't that's changing, but Holmes would still be game.

I think it would be cool to have the both of them on either side of a play by play guy, just for a boxing telecast. They both offer great insight, Larry is a great **** talker...and the tension factor would be priceless.

Holmes would've had only slightly more trouble beating Foreman than he had beating Cooney.. I really believe this, too. Holmes would've ripped Foreman to pieces.

If Holmes could get out of the early rds, he takes it IMO, Foreman is top 10 ATG but everybody acts like only Ali would which isn't true IMO.
