I think Marquez is a bit old and Cabellero just doesn't bring quite enough firepower to the table. That leaves me with the two young guns and JuanMa just comes across as more complete of a fighter than Gamboa to me. I think JuanMa is able to catch Gamboa coming in, score a knockdown or two and win either an entertaining UD or a TKO.

    Lopez or Caballero.

    I'd favor Lopez slightly more.

Im surprised so many people think Rafa is shot. For all that the vasquez result was down to vasquez being shot, rafa also looked very impressive and has kept more of his speed than i had thought after the mendoza fight. They all have their failings but great weapons as well. Lopez is good all round and I like him but I believe all 3 could have the skills to outbox him. Gamboa's chin is questionable and Id fear for him unless he took the opponents out early. Caballero can be astonishing 1 minute and then mediocre another and rafa is still quick but of course has took a lot of punishment. I reckon it could be caballero v marquez in the final surprisingly and think it would be very close with rafa just knicking it. Buth thats just my opininon. Id love to see a super 6 with these 4, john and rojas though, how good would that be!:good

Marquez looked good against a shot Vazquez. Vazquez wasn't even allowed into the fight by his terrible cuts. All of the other 3 mentioned are younger, and coming into important stages of their career.

Caballero did not impress me much against Yordan. He was caught far to easily, and i think for someone who is so tall and rangy, he gets too involved. Doing this with Gamboa and/or Lopez would spell disaster.

Gamboa is skilled extremely fast, with a lot of power too. If he catches anyone in the division they are going down, but questions remain over his own chin. His most noted win is against a Mtagwa on the back of a war with Lopez and clearly having weight difficulties, so its hard to asses how well he does against the cream of the division.

Lopez had a rough ride against Mtagwa, but looked very good in beating down a highly rated Luevano. He has shown he can carry his power to Featherweight, and he has a lot of it. He seems to me to have a higher ring IQ than Gamboa, and has better opposition on his resume. Gamboa's speed would trouble him, but i dont think Gamboa could handle Lopez' power.

    So for me:

    1-Lopez
    2-Gamboa
    3-Caballero
    4-Marquez

A lot of you will say I'm crazy, but I really think Lopez would KO Gamboa inside of three rounds. He's TOOO FLAWED. He lunges in wide open and gets away with it because he's so much faster than the limited opposition he's faced so far. But still other guys of much less speed, precision and power have been able to time Gamboa at certain points and put his can on the mat. . Lopez is a solid, fast-fisted technician with some real crack. He would expose the guy.

    Im with you Noob.
Before the 4th fight i would say Rafa would be last but I dont get why people are saying Rafa is shot. I saw a quick Rafa with stinging punches. His punches are like razorblades. I actually saw a game Vasquez. He also looked quick and that power was obviously there too but his face is shot.

Im going to go out on a limb here and say Rafa beats them all. He for sure beats Caballero who i dont think of very highly.
He beats JML via UD. He is just too smart and JML isnt incredibly fast or strong.
Gamboa would be his toughest fight but then again Gamboa for as fast and powerful as he is has never fought a fighter who is as quick as Rafa or as smart. Rafa should time him and catch him coming in and put him down. Wether he can finish can be the deciding factor in the fight.

I recommend you guys go watch that 4th fight. Yes i thought they were both shot in the fight before that 4th one but when i saw them in that ring throwing you can definately see they still have it. Vasquez unfortunately has a face that will cut from a jab.
Rafa does not and with his technical ability and combination of speed power and boxing brains he can beat these young guns.
