he's saying in comparrison to Skelton he's right though, Chisora would do a Helenius to Price, apart from Price hasn't got Helenius chin and would get stopped Helenius bashed price up in the amateurs, and has more impressive KO wins over the likes of Sam Peter. Helenius is better than Price
Go on then, give it a crack. David Price is a fragile fighter, he got bashed up, dropped and stopped many, many times as an amateur. As a fully grown man, in headgear. I know people want him to be the real deal, but he isn't. He's not that quick, he neglects his jab, he can't fight inside, he isn't durable. He's an on-top fighter. He looks great when he's ashing up washed up domestic journeymen, put him in with a world class fighter who starts landing a few punches and he will fold like a deck of cards. I don't rate him or Fury tbh, I won't be shocked if Fury loses tomorrow, and I won't be shocked when Price steps up and gets stopped. Compare Anthony Joshuas performances against Roberto Cammarale to that of David Price. Joshua is raw and needs a lot of work, but he's got the things you cant teach, a solid chin, durability and mental toughness. If you are looking for Britain's next Dominant heavyweight champion, Joshua has a chance at that, if he gets with a good trainer early and is taught well. Price or Fury? Nah
They are both significantly better than Chisora. Price and Fury are going to be close to the top, they'll both be world level although not necessarily titlists. "He's an accident waiting to happen" - well if you mean that he will get beat in the future then that is indeed a bold statement! "bashed up as an amateur" - so you see no change physically/mentally in Price since 2008? Getting stopped in the AMs doesn't convert directly in the pros, it can be equivalent to getting hurt in the pros. Everyone gets hurt.
I like Fury, think he had more potential. Fury is taking on a dangerous fight against Kevin Johnson. Johnson can fight if he tries and does not go into a shell like he did against Vitali. I think Fury will win this fight, but it's a dangerous one. If Johnson brings his "A" game..............
yeah, and it's like I explained to you yesterday, it's not like there is ANY point in posting detailed breakdown, I do it. When I feel like it. nobody on this site ever changes their opinion based on anything anyone else says. ever. Alls that happens is you sit here for 10 minutes typing an opinion, and then the next person goes "nah, because of this" Call my a cynic but why waste the time, just put what you think and save your breath If I had more respect for the site i'd put more effort in. I have no respect for it, and only respect about three posters on it.
I think Price will be a great fighter and I really like both but prefer Fury but there is some biasm towards Price from the boxing media, simply because he's been well known, well liked and admired for his boxing abilities for a very long time. The ts is just talking rubbish by completely writing Fury off, I don't know if any of you have heard of the England amateur coach Dave Binns but the AASE director for the north east, Steve Cranston, who trains me a lot, is very good friends with him. Steve said Dave Binns told him that Fury and Price KO'd each other quite a few times and when Steve was down with him one day on one of the days Price is meant have KO'd Fury, although my coach didn't see the sparring session he said Fury's only had a slightly swollen lip despite the fact he was KO'd and Price's face was meant to be a complete mess. tbh I do think people are unfair on Fury, whenever he's looked slightly vulnerable in a fight people have jumped all over him on here despite the fact he's been out of shape at times and his very young age yet when Price looked slightly vulnerable to infighting against Skelton last night that's pushed under the rug. This is a 50/50 fight imo.
Well you sure have a lot of posts for someone who doesn't like posting on here. If that's your attitude that's fine but don't expect anyone to respect or value your opinion if you choose not to back up any of your sweeping statements.
I do like posting here, like I said there is a few guys on here i like talking with, and the lounge is a laugh. The Brit section has gone downhill big time lately, I mean we are talking about a bunch of people who have managed to chase Adam Booth, Steve Bunce and pretty soon probably Tony Bellew off the site well done guys
I heard that they KO'd each other a few times. Obviously in sparring sessions will be stopped easier, I don't know if they actually did KO each other but that's what I heard.
Fury for me, I find his fights more entertaining & the guy cracks me up on a regular basis. Though both Fury & Price may fall short at world title level following Fury will be a lot more fun.
yeah, for me there both definatly among the top hw 5 prospects in boxing atm so maybe they will win a belt 1 day but klitschko would be hard. i know vitali is getting too old to represent himself well now but either of the 2 against him next year would be decent.
