Whoever said Monroe won round 3 against Golovkin

I just rewatched the fight, watching it live I thought Willie had a case for taking that round. But after a second look, it was mostly all Golovkin in that round, Willie just stayed away and was not very accurate with punches. Willie was mainly pawing with his shots, while GGG landed solid punches throughout the round.
The only round that I gave Willie was the 4th and even that round was pretty close.

 

The compubox showed Monroe outlander GGG 33 to 30 in round 4 , so ask yourself, " would I rather take 30 shots from the g or 33 from Monroe?"

Now it was certainly a much better round for Monroe and watching GGG take those shots was very surprising, but GGG certainly did more damage that round and I wouldn't have wanted to be Willie in that round.

 

GGG looked like **** in that fight... he was stunned a few times. Very hittable. Anyone really good will drop him.
Poor defense, poor stamina. He's one dimensional.

 

Willie would have taken Ward 12 rnds, and Ward would never be able to take GGG's shots. I'm sorry your feelings are hurt over this.

 

Willie won the 4th round.

 

If they had the same judges with May 2, its perfectly possible.

 

He won one round I thought. He was landing some good shots on GGG because he left his head straight up in the air and wasn't moving.

 

Monroe didn't win any rounds. I think you guys were swayed by the commentary. He landed some punches in round 4, but GGG still landed better punches.

 

Only gave him the 4th. Every other round was clearly GGG's imo.

 

Sweet. One fooled.....now if only the fighters in his division would think this we can see GGG KO all of the little *****es and finally ****ing unify.

 

You gotta give Monroe the 4th, whether GGG was giving us a "Big Drama Show" or not.
But yeah, GGG took the 3rd and while I personally felt Monroe nicked the 5th, I wouldnt argue with someone saying GGG won 5 of the six rds. :good
