Of coarse Manny has a chance but he is rightfully the overwhelming underdog. I give Manny a better shot against Oscar than I would Hatton.

To say 'stupid' is ridiculous. You haven't come from a country where cockfighting is a part of life.

In **** fighting, even given the disparity in experience or size for the fighting cocks, many still bet for the underdog and sometimes win. There are even many instances where the underdogs win in a row. That is the game of chances.

Bettors for Pacquiao are hoping to double/triple/quadruple their money if they win.

Viewers are in to watch how MP handles a guy bigger than him, though slightly faded is a future HOF and ATG. Viewers won't be cheated as they know MP is an excitng fighter even in defeat. How can you quantify the ecstatic effect if indeed Manny beats ODLH? How much more if it was a KO...?

Even in defeat, fans would be treated to a gladiator bout.

Yeah, give it a week after that and watch them all claim they knew Pacquiao would win IF he gets it done. Nothing strange there. :smoke

 

there are a lot of variables to this fight. that being said i still can't see pacqiou winning. oscar has all the tools to beat him...mainly jab and size.

 

If Oscar really wants to win it he shouldn't ignore throwing the jab, Roach his self admitted that the only thing he's seriously worried about is Oscar's jab but also mentioned that Oscar will dump it after three rounds.

well in retrospect Floyd won almost every round and then knocked Hatton out. So whats not logical to me is anyone who thought that Hatton could move up to 147 and beat Floyd.

Pacquiao at least is a young fighter in his prime who will maybe have a 15 pound disadvantage but at least he is a better fighter than his opponent. Thats the main difference between this fight and these other fights where a fighter moves up in weight and fights a fighter who is already better than them.

We all know Pac is a much better fighter than Oscar. The only question is will Oscar's size be an unsurmountable challenge.

 

and BTW Oscar has a good jab and a great left hook but how good is his right hand? that's the hand that will be the key in this fight.
