Whole arena is booing when Ward's name is mentioned

No doubt. Floyd is king, good for him.

 

I guess most get booed at some point for some reason. They got a lot more love than boos though. And if they ever got booed, it wasn't because they were boring. In every sport, boring teams or individuals get booed.

Not only was Ward booed, but he was booed in his own home state. That's rough.

Casual fans aren't into Ward's style. Not only does he not get knockouts, he also mauls his opponents and headbutts.

You put a point-fighting style together with dirty fighting and it usually won't work. Hopkins does it but he also can deliver big punches and KO's, like against Trinidad. Mayweather is a point-fighter but he doesn't maul his opponents like Ward does.

 

Tim Duncan is a boring player, nobody boos him. People get booed because they can evoke emotion. You could be boring, or you can be exciting, it really doesn't matter. A Southern Cali crowd full of Latinos is never going to have any love for Northern Cali guy like Ward.

 

I don't think people grasp how big and diverse of a state California is.

 

Floyd is doing great, you however are not.

 

And you know what else, they know Ward will beat GGG's ass and they don't want that. Trip G has sold himself in Cali. Any time that he can call out Alverez and get cheers, then you know he's in there.

 

they also booed when kellerman said andres name because compared to canelo or cotto ... that fight isnt as fan friendly that was the crowds way of showin sayin we want canelo or cotto not ward.

I don't understand this post.

Ward is a big name in California. If they didn't know who he was, they wouldn't have boo'd. Ward is from the Bay Area and is black, how many times do I have to say this? There's a clear rivalry going on.
