Assuming that all of these could be made, what should he go for? Please vote & state why.

Personally I'd like to see Calzaghe - Dawson most, so that is my pick (or if RRJ beats Calzaghe then him against Bad Chad). Time is also an issue here, most of the other ones can still be made in the future - this one probably not.

Calzghe, Diaconu or Erdei ... but be real he will fight Jones no matter if Calzghe beat him or lose.

Calzaghe, jones, Hopkins and Pavlik are all going to be tied up with each other.

He should fight Glen again, I think he'll do a much more comprehensive job on Johnson second time around.

Adrian because while so many others disagree i think it was fair enough that he gave up the belt for the bigger and better fight in Tarver. But now that thats out the way show the people you werent scared prove them wrong and unify the LHW division. After that Glen Johnson then whatever... I just think he would shut alot of mouths by fighting Adrian

Glen Johnson. Give that gentleman a rematch he deserves! A large number of fans and experts scored it for Johnson therefore he deserves another fight. And with the experience Chad gained, I'd pick him now to win on points. So less risk than before, Glen made him more mature, now it's time to say thank you and give him a rematch!

I'd like to see him get past Diaconu so we can put that garbage behind us. Plus he can still improve a lot and i am not sure he should be thrown in with the very top guys just yet, i'd like to see a nice progression for another 12 months.

A Johnson rematch would also be a good step.

i went with calzaghe rjj because i'd really like him to beat the winner of that fight.....be it roy or joe

but the Erdei or Diaconu would be a good win for him too

and i've never even heard of Hugo Garay but if he has a title, i assume he should be a good fight as well....

johnson doesn't need a rematch, he lost by UD....get over it, he needs to prove he can beat a game opponent before he gets in the ring with Dawson....and someone with a losing record like Tiwon Taylor isn't a game opponent, like seriously i've never even heard of him

and uhh....Winner of Pavlik Hopkins, i dont see why he would fight them......they're not fighting at 175, if Pavlik wins i dont see why that fight would take place......but if Hopkins wins, it be another good name on his resume, but he's old now so i dont think he'd a whole lot of credit for beating him

so yeah...for me personally i'd like to see him fight the winner of RJJ-JC

Garay, Diaconu or Cloud. Glen Johnson also deserves a rematch. All in all I'd prefer most Garay as he is very agressive fighter.

    His new mandatory challenger, Cloud.

Dawson couldn't fight Diaconu now even if he wanted to, though, which he doesn't. Diaconu is not American and he doesn't have a big American promoter and a big American network backing him up. He is not a star either. Therefore, he has to play by the rules to make a living. Diaconu has been mandated by the WBC to fight Branco in November. The winner of that fight has been mandated to fight Johnson next.

The only way Dawson could fight Diaconu is if he fought Johnson now, beat him and thus won himself the mandatory challenger position to the winner of Diaconu vs. Branco.

Dawson doesn't seem to want to give Johnson a rematch, though. Nor does he want to fight Diaconu.

Cloud is his mandatory challenger, but that means nothing to Dawson, as we already know. He is also an unknown, unproven, albeit American, puncher. Doesn't look like something Dawson would jump at.

Whom will he fight next? Calzaghe is unlikely to fight him, win or lose against Jones. Pavlik will move down to 160 after Hopkins, win or lose. Jones might fight him and so might Hopkins, whether they win or lose to Calzaghe and Pavlik, respectively.

My money is on Tarver, though.

For those who don't know Garay, you could argue he was robbed twice against Erdei. If you buy that, then he would be the WBA / WBO titlist and lineal champ...

Looking at the poll results so far, it looks as if Bad Chad is screwed. Irrespective of whom he picks, the majority of the fans will be unhappy.

Totally agree with you, I think a fight with Diaconu will do him good, give him a second belt and also just to get him out of the way, as it is unlikely he will be able to fight Calzaghe or Pavlik any time soon

Dawson WANTS Calzaghe next. He made that very clear in the post-fight-interview after he beat Antonio Tarver.

If Calzaghe retires, than he should fight Adrian Diaconu.

    :huh

Dawson isnt going to be a mandatory for Diaconu no matter who he beats because he is a champion...So that isnt going to happen...The rest of this is just as misinformed. You are clearly a Diaconu fan:hey
