Whom should Edison Miranda fight next?

    That seems to be the problem and now I hear Bika is fighting Andrade.
    Looks like there are not too many options other than Pascal. :-(

    Bika might not fight Andrade; it might just be a rumour. Tell you what, though: beating Andrade would be harder and would make you more of a star in the USA than beating Miranda! Also, Bika's style is less suited to Andrade than to Miranda, I think...

    The fight I would like to see is Miranda fighting Andrade, that is, if nothing more attractive came about for a belt or an elimination.

    This would be a great test to see how powerful Pantera really is at 168lbs. If he could take out Andrade, than he could take out anyone.

    troubkle for miranda he has come to 168 just as all the belts are going to be vacated and a scramble will be on for the baubles.


    and also the fact that he is fight9ing in america and if the belts go the way of the favourites then they will be in

    australia
    canada
    england
    germany

    i think unfairly miranda is going to have to get a mandatory slot to get a title fight at 168 as new champs promoters will think he is to high risk/low reward until mandated to fight him.

    I agree, but I don't think that's such a bad thing. I think he needs some time to polish up that style a bit before he fights for a title. No?

    I think Bika will fight him if he loses to Andrade...:D

    PS: From what I have seen both Jeff Lacy and Sakio Bika are two fighters currently ranked above you with whom you match up very well with. What are your thoughts on fighting Lacy or Bika? What do you think of them as fighters?

    Miranda: I watched the last Lacy fight and was not impressed at all. I also watched the Contender and my feeling was the same about Bika. These guys are simply not at my level. If I need to fight them to prove it, I will. But I want to face the best in the Super Middleweight division and these two guys certainly are not the best.

    KO Pascal in a similar fashion to Banks, then move up to fight, Bika.
    Then a World Title fight against Mundine or Bute. Once he has a belt a fight with Lacy then a rematch with Green and then Kessler.

    Miranda's new ranking in WBC is at #4.
    Maybe he can be part of the scramble for the vacant belt.
