I speak my truth. I can care less if people like my opinion. I will continue to say Margo cheated until someone can explain how the old wraps were used by accident. Also, the rule on wraps is, only gauze and tape can be used, so when something other than that is found, someone needs to explain. And the commission was right to suspended Margo. Because of the substance found, regardless of how small the amount. Lotion and sweat. LOL

I find Drenlou to be the greatest poster on this here site. That being said, you assume I'm some Floyd fanboy, no. But like we've discussed before. The rules state that the only thing allowed is tape and gauze. The rule has no wiggle room for lotion and old sweat. From that prospective, Margo was in the wrong and rightfully suspended.

 

The good old US law states...... "Any suspect must be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law'"
The onus is on the prosecution to prove the suspect guilty, not the defence job to prove him innocent. The prosecution (the CSAC) accused Margarito of a crime, but had no proof of his guilt so the right thing to do was declare him innocent. BUT they refused. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you really that dumb as to not see why??????

He was proven guilty which was why he was suspended a whole year. If Capetillo wouldn't have taken the wrap for him, he'd have been banished from the sport for good.

All that was in the wraps were tape & gauze as the law allows. The only thing was Capetillo picked up a used gauze pad instead of a new one, a technical offense at best. All that was on that pad was HUMAN SWEAT determined by the amount of sulpher & calcium detected using microscopic analysis. Plus the pad was still soft THREE WEEKS LATER !!! I was a Margarito fan, he was going through everybody. Even bet on him against Cotto, but when everything came out before the Mosley fight and then I look at his performance in that fight and I instantly knew it was possible that he was fighting with the illegal knuckle pads all along. He got suspended for a whole year, he was not innocent in this case.

 

If he was guilty he would have been banned for life.

 

Capetillo took the sole blame, that's why he was banned for life.

They couldn't find anything to indict him with he'd done nothing wrong. I bet he wishes they had tried to indict him he'd be a very rich man today.
