I picked Pavlik but Hopkins has a serious chance over 10 and should be favoured over 6.

I can't stand GBP! They always stack the deck in their guys favor. Why is Arum agreeing to all these f'n terms? The fight is gonna be in Hopkins backyard, its at 170 and now its gonna be a ten rounder cause the old man can't go twelve anymore?! Gimme a f'n break! I guess Arum really doesn't give a **** about Pavlik....cause if he did, he'd speak up and say no to this crap. KP deserves better than this and if you ask me, he's the draw in this fight. If I was Pavlik, I'd drop Arum as soon as my contracts up because he's making a f'n mockery of Kelly's career.

I didn't think it would be twelve round fight in the first place. There is no title on the line, is there?

Not really...now Pavlik can set an extra fast pace and not have to worry about tiring him self... If Pavlik has better stamina it will show in 10 rounds...if you stamina is better then will not tire as fast. So it's really not an advantage...

    Good point.

Besides, we've only seen Kelly go over 10 rounds, 1 time.

actually, even though hopkins is not worth watching, it's very impressive that he's still mixing it competitively with the big boys at 43.

that's a rare thing - even if it sends us to sleep.

BTW Boxrec sometimes sucks but it show that the fight is going to be 12 rounder.

They should allow other concessions for Hops. The fight should really be just 8 rounds and the rounds should be shortened to two minutes and seventeen seconds, deducting one point for each year of Hops' age (43).

Also, if Hops deems Pav has hit him low and he turns around in pain, out of respect for his legendary status in the sport, the ref should not question his sincerity and let him rest for up to five minutes.

I think this is important because when Hops actually consults refs before he asks for time they sometimes hesitate to give it to him, not being fighters themselves and not realizing Hops has been nailed by a dirty low shot.

well that guy thinks Kelly's chances decrease the longer it goes, plus the odds are better to bet by KO of course.

I definitely think Kelly is going to win this one in a clear decision or by KO. I don't know which.
