Yeah and Floyd didn't fight an undefeated Corrales, or Genaro Hernandez in his 18th pro fight.

at least calzaghe risked fighting prime, good (but not great) kessler & lacey and also aging greats rjj & bhop.

who has flop mayweather fought lately that were really threats to him.

Everyone ridicules Floyd because he has made fights based on money...but pacquiao is doin the same thing..you need to watch Floyd of 130...no one was as talented as him at that weight

Because you are talking in hindsight. When Calzaghe faced Lacy, how many of you thought that Calzaghe would win???

Same stuff with Corrales, who even at the onset did not really have a great boxing skill.

At least, Calzaghe did not reitre to avoid his opponents, and the better thing is he stay retired. Floyd came out of the retirement to fight JMM, then God forbid, hopeless case of no hopers- you know, to pay the bills.

Matt Hatton fight will prove Void is protecting his 0, which he does not deserve in spite of his cowardice.

Those fights made him a coward, it literally defined his greatnes but also scarred his psyche, especially the Castillo fight. From that on, he fought opponents who are on paper easy fights.

You people bash Floyd now but know nothing about his early career..when him and Mosley were both on the pound for pound list who was the one who backed out of the fight? MOSLEY..claiming he wanted a vacation and had a toothache..this was the biggest fight to be made under 140 at the time!!!! Don't act like Floyd has cherry picked all his fighters if you don't know his career

the key word of my statement was
    This content is protected
you moron, 130 was early in Flop's career and it's common knowledge that anybody who wants to be somebody must fight everybody (almost) to make it, now that both fighters have made "it" compare their resumes. what d you see?

Tbh getting sick of the idiot calzaghe hate, HE didnt leave his country so hes a coward, rjj, bhop, floyd ect ect dont leave theirs and its ok because america is the place to be!. Hopkins ducks calzaghe, collins has to pull out cus of an injury and its all ignored. Time and time again i see people on here say calzaghe was to high risk and low reward for people to go to england to fight him so instead you all expect him to go to america to defend HIS belt. If anyone suggested Hopkins should go defend a belt of his in the challengers country you would all just say noway man the challenger should come to hopkins. Calzaghe wasnt protected he just didnt think you americans were important enough till much later on in his career. I think after the reception and worldwide praise he gained from Lacy he began to crave it and thats only reason he started to travel.

Calzaghe's without doubt. His whole career has been based around not fighting someone unless he has very little chance of winning.

no one comes even remotely close to calzaghe. defending his championship for more than a decade against nobodies. he only got a 43 y/o hopkins as his career defining win, and most people thought he lost that fight :rofl
