Pacquiao for proving it against FAR better opposition. You can look like Ali fighting guys like 43 year old Hopkins, 40 year old RJJ, Pudwill, acient Eubank, Lacy and Kessler. That's his career right there.

It's the opposition you fight that brings out the best in you and hitting the canvas in the first round against ancient guys he openly and admittedly ducked when he was SUPPOSED to fight is not the best sign. Pacman is beating guys he's NOT SUPPOSED TO FIGHT. Calzaghe made a successful career not fighting the guys he's supposed to fight.

    HUGE difference.

That's because Pacman fought all the dangerous fighters available to fight and fought guys he's NOT supposed to fight. Calzaghe made a career not fighting guys and retired just like that.

I expect a lot of pub rejects to be extremely emotionally broken from this thread and I'm glad.

some posters got totally exposed in this thread.

At this point I keep thinking these guys are so ****ing exposed that it's literally impossible to be more exposed, but they always find a way to pull through.

I am curious. How did he beat Hopkins? Before that fight, how does he beat his opponents?

??? Hopkins was winning early and calzaghe had to adjust. As he usually will always find a way to do.

Its funny listening to the calzaghe haters almost crying in this thread.

The question isnt who is greater or the better fighter...that is pac for sure.....its who is better all round(which i took mainly as who is more versatile).

    and its probably Calzaghe.

Manny is a great fighter, yes but hes mainly a great slugger with great heart and determination. Vs Marquez for example where was the versatility?

who will be remembered as the better boxer?

who do fans love watching more?

who has had the better opponents?

who will go down as top 3 fighter of all time?

The answer to these questions is Manny Pacquiao.

and btw floyd maywether jnr craps on calzaghe's skills.
