Who's a better fighter Clottey or Margarito?

Clottey at this point.


He would whip Margo's ass in a rematch. And Cotto too, for that matter.

 

Clottey. I scored his fight against Margo 6-6 and that with Clottey fighting the final 8 rounds with hand injury that clearly limited him.

 

Clottey may be better technically but that doesn't make him the superior fighter overall...

Margarito is above him.

Margarito... beat both Clottey and Cotto, a fighter Clottey just lost to. Seems prety simple and clear cut to me.

both are going to be b level boxers for the span of their carers. nothign margarito does or has done will be taken serious and clottey fought the fight of his life against a cut and vulnerable superstar and still didnt finish. without wraps clottey beats margacheato fair and square

Iron chin + aggressiveness + 100 punches/round + incredible stamina > Inactivity + good counterpunching, lack of stamina, half decent punching power + shell defense.

The problem with Clottey is that he's just too inactive (I personally think his chin isnt all its made to be so he goes into hiding behind his defense too much). If Clottey could combine his fast hands and counterpunching skills with being a little bit more aggressive, he wouldn't have "getting robbed" feeling...
