Who's a better HBO Commentary. Lennox Lewis or Roy Jones Jr

Roy for the most part does a solid job. He's not as good as Tarver but is pretty good. The bad thing with Roy is he has to play of Kellerman who is the worst in the buisness, just awful.

Lennox Lewis. I love to listen to him, great boxing knowledge.

Is this a serious question ? LL was by far one of the worst and most boring announcers HBO has ever had ..The man sounded like a robot on the mic yet he's being compared to an actual favorite .I mean the worst announcer they had was better than LL .

RJJ is always so cringeworthy when he starts talking about a fighter's glass jaw and how vulnerable they are. Makes me shudder.

Never liked Lewis as a commentator, great fighter but shite commentator.

 

Roy is good at commentating.

 

I prefer Roy, but the guy who is REALLY GOOD, and I mean shockingly good, is Paulie Mallinaggi.

 

I liked big George the best, the only thing Lennox did I liked was when he burst out laughing when Judah punched money in the balls and all hell broke loose.

 

I don't think either are particularly good. Lennox was horrible. Don't know how he got the job in the first place. Roy does occasionally come out with some insightful stuff.

I personally think Malignaggi would make an ATG fighter-commentator.
