Mallinaggi and Tarver were both born to do the job, both of them are definitely "shockingly good."

Not shocking in my view but a good pick. Paulie definitely seems to go the extra mile in his commentating.

Roy was actually fired from his duties as a HBO Boxing Analyst. It was the people who wanted him back and voted for him. Roy does an awesome job commentating on BAD. No bias. Gives both view points and gives props to loser as well.

Is this a Joke? RJJ is the best commentator in the sport today. His insight is without peer. And is usually spot on with his analysis. Lennox sucked all he said was "absolutely".

I'd rather see BHop in there. or some other fighter who was a tactician (Lennox was okay). RJJ was always a shitty boxer with super-human speed, power and ahtleticism. Besides he's ****ing ignorant toward some fighters for no damn reason and can really be a hater.

I'd like to see BHop or more of Teddy Atlas personally. Cannot ****ing stand ANY of that shitty ****ing trio of Lampley (dog****/blowjobber), Merchant (closet racist), Kellerman (sigh).

 Kellerman would try to get all Ilesey on Sweet Pea if he ever sat next to him during a boxing match. Dude picked him to beat Tito when he was inactive and fresh outta rehab :patsch

I liked LL but I had to vote RJJ. I like other posters have said enjoy entertaining and humorous commentary and Roy definitely delivers. I also like how he doesn't over analyze things. This past weekend durring the Rios/Alvarado fight Papa asked if either guy can do something to swing the momentum their way and Roy gave a simple and honest -

    "Not Really."

Other guys would have probably gone deep down into their boxing knowledge and spout off a bunch of stuff that isn't ever going to happen given how the fight was going.

Not true at all. So tired of this myth being spread around about Jones. RJJ was very technically sound, and knew the rules before deciding to break them to his advantage. Nobody gets by on athleticism alone. His balance, ability to feint, conventional use of counter-punches, punching form, control of distance, ring generalship, baits, etc. were all centered around mechanically correct uses of skill. Just because he didn't have a conventional guard doesn't mean he wasn't a knowledgeable tactician. It shows in the way he predicts outcomes in fights and identifies the punches that eventually become the most important in a bout. But I'd love to hear BHop on the mic as well.
