Been said. Murray's a tough SOB but Saunders is the better boxer, that said H2H I can easily see Murray giving BJS some tough moments down the stretch - Billie Joe's late round focus / stamina still needs some work.

I'd give the edge to Saunders but I don't think anyone @160-168 can easily beat Murray other than GGG and Ward who's a LHW now.

    :patsch:lol:

Half the SMW division easily beat Murray. Saunders boxes circles round him, Murray wouldn't win a round. I know MM is Golovkins best win but please stop overrating him.

No they don't. And what did I say to overrate him? He faced 4 top MW-SMWs and fought on the even terms with three of them. You and I both know what a SD loss to a German fighter in Germany really means, same with the draw.

You think the guy who went life and death with Paul Smith is a 'top SMW'? DeGale and Jack clown Murray worse than Golovkin did. Hell even a shot George Groves would beat Murray without breaking a sweat.

Sturm at that stage of his career already had a fight with Macklin which most people felt he lost. Martinez was destroyed by Cotto in his next fight after Murray.

Golovkin is great yes and Murray fought him in his prime we will see if BJS can do any better against him.

    :rofl :rofl

Abraham was coming off of a KO win over Stieglitz, he is a top SMW. If you go by their struggles, you can discredit any fighter as DeGale recently struggled with shot Bute. But he'd probably beat Murray convincingly, I'll give you that.

Murray is a very good fighter and it would be a good fight between the two but I think Saunders would win on points at middleweight.

I agree with that. A few super middle weights who might win clearly but not every round in my opinion.

Stieglitz is a bum and he still managed to stop Abraham. Abraham has lost every time he stepped up at SMW, Froch, Dirrell etc nearly lost to Paul Smith who DeGale and Groves destroyed. You are deluded.

He was never the king @168, no doubt. And he gets very lazy in the ring that causes him to lose rounds but he's a top SMW. The division is not as good as it was back in the super six times anyways.

Tough one actually. That would've been a good h2h matchup.
