Errol Spence Jr. Or Jermall Charlo the middleweight twin . Who's the better over all fighter boxer and who is more of a killer better knock out artist
Hard to tell because of sever inactivity. Spence has some weakness fighting on the backfoot and chasing guys. I think people are a bit gassed on the fact that he dropped Floyd but, what people forget is that when he dropped Floyd he was standing still trying to show off in front of his crew, thats Spence's forte' to bang out. In fact Spence fights like GGG. They have great fundamentals, good strength, and a psychological advantage on their opponent but, both have horrid defense and look sloppy chasing guys around too much. Charlo has to start fighting more guys in the top 10 at MW to tell. The more experienced the fighter, the tougher the KO is to get sometimes. Trout took him and his brother the distance and Trout is considered past his prime now. Hurd would put pressure on him and that would be a good match.
Spence appears to be a little more consistent in terms of his dominance and has arguably fought better opposition. Charlo looks impressive most of the time but needs to string together a couple more wins over quality opposition (and look convincing in doing so) before we can have this discussion IMO.
To be honest, if Hurd wasn't so big, Trout would have beat him soundly. He was saved by his size and excellent chin.
Dominance? He was getting worked the first half of the fight against Brook until the head clash smashed Brooks eye socket and Spence started taking over from that point. I like Spence but he is soooooo overrated its crazy to me. The minute he comes up against a guy who can fight on the move with some pop he is going to lose. Crawford is going to expose him badly and i believe a healthy Thurman also beats him.
