Emmanuel has the edge. Part of his gameplan is evaluating the look and determination in an opponent's eyes.

    ES has a slight edge.

But both are very good trainers in their own way.

Emanuel. He said that Pryor admitted to him that they cheated to beat Arguello and Emanuel told him now you're gonna beat him with boxing skill. And thanks to Emmanuel's training and strategy, he did.

Think him training Hearns from scratch is a bigger achievement than anything Roach has done even though Pac is a ATG in his own right.
Next to that Stewards resume is just far deeper.
I also think his fighters have a much better grasp of the fundamentals.

    Both great trainers though.

I'd lean toward Steward, but both are very good.

Definitely Steward. Freddie is a good offensive trainer but lacks the defensive techniques. Kind of odd since he was a protegee of the greatest trainer of all time, Eddie Futch.

They both have very distinctive pro's and cons...if you're fast handed but short then Freddie...if you're tall then ES.
