It seems to me that everytime I hear about these two guys, I keep hearing about them getting knocked the f*** out. I mean, could these 2 guys be the biggest walking punching bags in boxing today?

Like algieri bowed down to amir khan of all people and geale gets knocked out in whatever weight class he's fighting in. Like from cotto to ggg. He can never last more than 4 rounds in his fights.

    What do you think?

What match did you watch Algieri arguably won his match against Khan it rightfully should have been a draw.

Nah, Algieri was game but he didn't do enough to win the rounds IMO, he was not effective enough and was taking too many punches himself, enough to give Khan the edge in most rounds. I gave him like 3-4.

Geale quit like a dog. Algieri was KD'ED 6 times and still fought to the end.

    Geale shouldn't fight again. Coward

They're both at gatekeeper Level at the least. Geale turned out to be a quitter but he was a unified champion once, and Algieri put on good performances against Provo and Khan. Neither are tomato cans.

    Yeah, neither are cans.

Geale was good (not elite) but his best days are gone and I don't think he has the heart for it any more.

Algieri is a good fighter getting better all the time now he has a real boxing trainer.

These "can" and "bum" terms are used too non-sparingly. They are both B grade boxers who will fail against opposition above a certain level. You will only see those high profile fights on TV so whenever you have a chance to watch them, they will lose more than they win - doesn't make them bums.

:deal It was a case where a fighter does better than expected, combined with hate/resentment of another fighter, that clouds people's minds into thinking they "won". But he didn't. Was a clear points victory for Khan.

Based on Geale quiting two times in a row, and Chris getting up from 6 KD'ed and finishing the fight.:hi:
