I was just reading Bill Butchers thread and he stated PBF over Lewis.

I was not a fan of Lewis at first, he was bland, mechanical but looking back at his career now. The man certainly belongs with the handful of HW ATGs

The man ducked no one, possibly the strongest resume of a HW ever and he beat them all.

I mean check out his resume, for every washup Tyson or Holyfield he took on, he also fought a Grant, Ruddock, Golota, Briggs, Mercer and Vitaly who when people talk about in the past tense, is considered a beast.

Floyd, hes a great defensive fighter and good offensively, very subtle, very smart but his resume is average and his choosing of opponents at the very least is suspect.

For his skillset, Lewis had probably the best right hand of a HW with the exception of Stevenson. The guy is very tactical in the ring and wasnt given that much credit for it. He had a laser jab.

Bottom line, Id take Lewis any day over PBF.

For better or worse, Lewis cleaned out his division. Mayweather ran from it.

the thread would set the record straight..had PBF did not retire, he would have been the p4p king for atleast 4 years and that is enough for him to surpass lewis imo...

    PBF just retired too early

That's the only thing this should ever be based on. Nothing else would be fair, reasonable, or even realistic. Otherwise we're rewarding and penalizing fighters for being the benefactors and victims of happenstance.

You know, as soon as I seen this thread this morning/afternoon, I thought to myself `I bet these ******s here in general have gave Lewis more votes than Mayweather, but surely not even they could be so ****in moronic`

Guess what ?.... :-(... yes, you guessed.

Mark these words - ANYONE that even tries to compare Lewis to Mayweather on any level is a stupid **** that doesnt know **** about boxing or should stop watching the sport because your way way too biased.

What a bunch of ****in dimwits.

Im gonna read these posts now.
