Dude i thought you were a fan of True warriors - Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez. Phenominal boxer as he is, how exactly does Floyd Mayweather jr fit into things? :huh
I was replying to your post about Chico not being an elite fighter because he got knocked down 5 times by Floyd. Im not sure what numerous knockdowns have anything to do with someone being an elite fighter or not. Chico's always had a shaky chin but what's important is that he was rarely hurt from those knockdowns and that's why he always got right up.. It's kinda like TITO although tito's problems lies in his bad balance.. He got knocked down many times but he got back up and beat his opponents down.. Gong by your analogy, TIto isn't an elite fighter too.. People question FLoyd now but back in his earlier days, he took on everybody and i dont need to go through them again.. Look at his resume.. He took on an undefeated Chico when no one else wanted any part of him.. WEll FLoyd stepped up and fought him.. That's a warrior.. And after the first castillo fight, he wanted to erase all doubts so he took a rematch which he didnt have to do... IF that's not a warrior, i dont know what is. IMO, Chico was an Elite fighter without a doubt.. And FLoyd is a true warrior.
I'm utterly shocked that not one person mentioned Evander Holyfield. That's the first name that popped up when i read the title.
