Let’s be real here. Until he beat Warrington you didn’t even know who Lara Was.

For a long time it's been one of those weight classes that had four subdivisions (North America, Western Europe, Eurasia, and East Asia) but now it looks like Lara and Warrington shook the jar and we might get a real world champ.

Currently probably Emanuel Navarrete. He likely won't fight Mauricio Lara though since they are stablemates and would prefer to move up.

Gill dropped, battered all night, suffered two perforated eardrums and pulls a KO of the Year contender from the hat to turn it around even though his equilibrium was gone due to the damage sustained to his eardrums.

Wood dropped like a sack of potatoes in round 1, badly hurt and on the verge of getting stopped in round 2, takes a ton of punishment throughout, momentarily looks like he's about to go in round 11 and then he manages to salvage victory from the jaws of defeat by pulling out KO of the Year contender in the final round

Both these ^^^ within the last three weeks

Warrington Suffers a perforated eardrum, gets dropped in round 4, takes a ton of flush bombs for the next 5 rounds even though his legs were wobbly and his equilibrium was never right after his eardrum went, before inevitably wilting to accumulation of Lara's vicious attacks. Also suffered a fractured jaw and a shoulder injury during the fight. Very few fighters would've been able to hang in there that long after shipping the amount of flush bombs let alone in that compromised state

Navarrete right now but hes moving up to 130 soon.

With his departure it can be GRJ if he gets his **** together.

Russell if he was healthy and wanted to be active. But he's not and he doesn't, so with Navarrette going up its open.
