Who's better? Cotto or Williams??

Man, they could have this fight in Puerto Rico and pick Williams' gloves(ala DLH did PBF), PW would still f_ck Cotto up & make him quit. I do not see Cotto making it through the whole fight, I just can not see it happeneing.

 

If Cotto had "all this skill" and was "the complete boxer" like everyone was/is saying, with his "more power than Williams" he should have easily defeated AM, right?

 

Thats right. The size differential is what gives Williams the edge, that's my opinion.

 

That gives him the advantage in every one of his fights, against every opponent.

 

SO by your opinion, Williams doesn't have these other qualities that I mention... Ya know.. The chin, the stamina and workrate?

Never said that, but those things alone won't always decide who the winner will be, let's see how those advantages do against Winky.

 

Well with Winky, you got a guy who may come in the ring looking like RJJ. He's 38 now.

 

Well i'm hoping for something like the Winky that fought BHOP
I know there are alot of doubts in Winky but if he is still the Winky that I know, Williams is gonna get skooled.

 

This isn't about Winky. It's about Cotto. If PW loses to Winky, that means absolutely nothing as to what Cotto can do. Nothing. Two completely different style of fighters, and two completely different weight classes. Nice try.

Winky didn't look all that good vs Hopkins in that fight, he weighed 170 & was slower than usual & his stamina sucked. Hopkins didn't look that good either. The Winky that fought Hopkins willl not cut it.

 

Maybe but no one ever looks good against BHOP :good I think he'll be more comfortable at 160. But those 2 year layoff and age are giving me doubts

 

Experience and power is what cotto has over pw I think experience is what makes the diffrence if this fight happens. PW could have made beating margarito even easier if he utilized his jabs more would have made a boring fight but margo had almost stopped coming forward at somepoint

 

Yeah, PW isn't the smartest fighter out there. He doesn't use strategy, he just swarms.
