No, but their styles included pressure.
Once PW gets into a rhythm and he has no respect for your power because he's took your best, he picks up the pressure and starts to walk you down more often.

You hit it right on the head!(Styles) Cotto will have a hard time getting inside. You've just stated it yourself...Styles....Paul style spells nightmares for the shorter Cotto..lets not forget...Paul is a damn good fighter on the inside....so if Cotto does gets inside he will get hit with uppercuts..Just watch the Margorito fight to see how his inside game is.

And we've all seen Paul stopped before right?? ARUM WILL NOT LET COTTO IN WITH PAUL...Paul is a beast knocking guys out at 160 (and yes I know there nobodies)...Paul has been calling for a fight with Cotto since 2007..

You say you'd favor Paul above 147 but what would be any different??? Paul has no trouble making weight..He came in at 145 against Tony...If Tony couldn't beat Paul than how is Cotto..I juss can't see Cotto landing anything good enough...Paul by knockout

And I'd never compare Williams to the Hitman...the Hitman is a beast with 1 punch..I was only stating that I think the body measure would be similar..alotta people thought Duran would be to rough and tough for Tommy before that fight..after the fight though nobody said **** about it!!

What people fail to realize here is that Williams a stylistic nightmare for Cotto. Cotto can't deal with pressure and fights dumb when faced with it. He starts to retreat to the ropes and abandon's his gameplan and when he starts to get hit he won't clinch another flaw in his game. Williams is better in every way than Margo is. He will jump on Cotto from the opening bell unlike Margo and once he hurts the chinny Cotto its over. Cotto won't be able to hurt Williams who stood up to a loaded glove Margo's attack for 12 rounds and beat him at his own game. He will get the better of Cotto on the outside and Cotto will catch hell trying to get inside of those long ass arms and he won't be able to do it without getting busted up in the process because Williams won't stop throwing. Williams is also an underrated inside fighter and body puncher he's simply too much for Cotto to handle. Williams by late round TKO:deal

The Williams that fought Margarito beats Cotto. Thing is we haven't seen this version of Williams in a while. He's flat footed now and just walks his opponents down without jabbing much. If he could fight like that again he would be damn good.

Cotto is more skilled than Williams, the only thing Williams got is his height.

cotto might be more skilled, but williams is too big, strong, quick/powerful, and throws too many punches. like pimp c said, hed be too much for cotto to handle.

Cotto has never had a problem getting in with any fighter. So how will PW keep him at bay when PW himself doesnt even use his jab correctly? Q beat PW cause of good boxing and Cotto is years ahead of Q in that department. Believe me Cotto gets in easier then you think.

PW lost his shot at Cotto ince he was beat by Q and thats a fact. Cotto was busy trying to beat the likes of Shane and Margo (which did not happen). At 147 PW is so dam skinny that you can see his ribs. It dont matter if he can make that weight. His body would be too frial cause not enough muscle covers his ribs. Its a big difference.

Carlos is bigger and a lot more slick than Cotto is. He uses more angles. Not to mention Williams wasn't right that night as well. With that said Cotto also hasn't fought a guy who's as long as Williams is the guy's arms are as long as heavyweights:deal He will only be able to get inside when Williams allows because wants to get to Cotto's body and fight on the inside. Williams is simply too big and strong for Cotto. There's no shame in losing to this freak. Cotto is simply outgunned.

What's the point of a jab if he's not going to use it properly? :huh

He flings his jab with no real pop. It's just there to hide his other punches. And no Q is NOT more slick than Cotto. Rewatch the Cotto-Marg fight and see how many punches Cotto slipped through. Margo made Cotto look like ****in' Sweet Pea in there.

Cotto will make this a VERY close fight. I'm not going to confidently say he takes this fight hands down, but he has a STRONG chance at winning.
