Cotto slipped Margo's punches as iof that's some sort of accomplishment??? Old man Shane looked like Pea Whitaker against that broken down windmill. He won't be slipping Williams punches who has faster handspeed and comes from more angles and more frequently than Margo's did.

 

Again, Margo is a slow plodding fighter. Take into account that PW was the same height so it was harder for Margo to hit the body with great precision. Cotto is right in PW's chest cause of the height.

To be honest pw @ welterweight should never lose... Has he lost before yes.... But when paul williams is on his A game nobody @ welterweight stands a chance.... I don't have a preference for what race vs. race. I'm calling like I see it. I honestly feel Paul Williams has done NOTHING to earn my respect for his "talent"...I enjoy watching. He's exciting. He's good for boxing. But he's got too many flaws that aren't being exposed properly because of his **** opposition.

Once he gets in there with Winky, I'll have either a stronger case as to why Williams is overrated or a better perception of just how good P.Will is.

You have your bias because he's your fav. I have mine because Cotto is mine. And everyone else just makes the quick assumption because he's big as ****.

I'm look beyond the tale of the tape. Williams, in my eyes currently, doesnt have the skills to beat Cotto. He'll definitely put him through some serious ****, but I think he will overcome those obstacles and come out victorius.

Thats nice that you been fighting for 9 years. Guess what though? I'm been doing the same for 12 years. its no given cause a fighter is a tall fighter that he always wins. Tyson, Liston, Rocky, all beat taller fighters. So too did Floyd in Oscar and Chico. As for PW having better defense, it didnt play out that way against slow margo or light hitting Q did it. Show me a fight where PW did not get hit really good. There is none. Even in his win against old man Phillips he was getting tagged.

 

Why even continue this for. We can go on and on for the next ten pages or so and we will not change our minds about it. The agrguements are great but neither of us will fold.

More skilled=Cotto, h2h= Williams, the size diff is way to big,once Williams fight someone his own size and is at least a B level fighter, like Cotto have been doing, he will get soundly beaten.
