Lemiuex and Berlanga are 168-pounders, and Stevens hasn't fought since 2018. 160 has thinned out a lot since the days of Golovkin, Lemiuex, Stevens, Jacobs, Lee, Quillin, Alvarez, and Rubio. Most of these guys weren't special, but it was a decent era for middleweight punchers. Anyways, I would say that Charlo, Feigenbutz, Montiel, and Murata are likely the biggest bangers occupying the class, outside of a few lesser-knowns in the ranks.
Right. I dont know I read the topic as being …in the middleweight DIVISIONS….So my bad. And yeah MW is thin right now. I agree with your choices.
Its fine being able to punch but when you plant your feet you might have to take it back on occasion ...as Lemieux found out he couldn't from GGG ... thats what makes a good fighter a special fighter...
160 is pretty disgusting right now. It's right up there with 168 in terms of overall quality In no order Janibek Jermallo Murata Liam Williams Janibek has only had 11 fights Jermallo's power at 160 is not as impressive as it was down at 154 which can often be the case after moving up from a division you were huge for Murata is more of a two-fisted heavy handed punching machine And Williams couldn't string two punches together against CEJ Still GGG by some margin
