Who's Defence is Better? Floyds or Abril's

The sad part was that rio did cut the ring off and was landing, just couldn't land well due the holding and smothering.

 

i picked abril just because someone really had to ask and i guess really did not know.

Floyd faces world class opposition in every fight and leaves fights unmarked. Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosely, Tree, JMM, ODLH, Castillo etc >> Rios.

Floyd's technical defense is better yes. However, Roy was more untouchable due to his insanely fast feet. However, Floyd has a more well rounded defense and is better.

Pep, Locche, Benitez, Whittaker, Walcott, Ali, Jones, Duran, Toney, Hopkins, Mayweather. All up there, I wouldn't put Mayweather top 4 though. Just my opinion.

This :deal I for one actually enjoyed the fight, right up until the decision anyway.

 

Toney shoulder rolls better than Floyd, but his defense is not better.
Ali's defense was pretty good in his prime, but not better than Floyd's either.

Witaker, Locche, Pep, Wlacott, Benitez, Duran and Jones are the only ones I'd say are equal or better, but I haven't watched enough of all of them. Also some of those guys mentioned get hit a lot more than Floyd too

 

In no way am I disrespecting or down talking Floyd's defense man, Floyd is probably one of my favorite current fighters. I was just saying that all of those guys have atg defense but i disagree that someone could claim he is top 4 without doubt

I was impress with Abril. He fought a guy(Rios) in his prime who threw many punches and apply pressure the whole night and barely landed any punches. You cant hate on that.
