Haye has no reputation or legacy to speak off. Mayweather has a mountain of it.

So the answer of Mayweather by default (he has a reputation to damage).

    I accidently clicked Mayweather.

It's close, but I'll have to go with Haye. Mayweather's a guy who actually tries to be a dickhead, so it's really not that much of a surprise to see him be the way he is. Haye, on the other hand, has built himself up a reputation of being the good guy who's here to save a dying division. Him failing to live up to his promises, is far more detrimental than Floyd acting like the person we know him to be.

Also, Mayweather's reluctance to fight his guy (Pacquiao) is not as bad as Haye's reluctance to fight his (both Klitschkos), because Mayweather has never desperately called out and chased Pacquiao publicly. He's not put himself in a situation where if he fails to make his superfight, his legacy would be regarded as a joke. He can at least live off his past achievements in the lower weights, whereas Haye can't.

As for who's the bigger *******. That's not even close. Mayweather can't be beaten in this department.

Mayweather, I mean who gives a **** about Haye? Unless ur a boxing fan you've never even heard this guys name. He has no rep. Floyd on the other hand had a huge rep, but he's been blowing shotgun size holes in it for a while now. Not sure how much is left

    of any kind

I mean Pacs too good hes on something !!!!:lol:

Haye fans and everybody readily admits or they should that Klitschkio gonna take him

Pacs been taking achievements left and right , most titles in divisions, lineal title , Floyds no 1 P4P spot

There were no signs of wear and tear when Floyd Mayweather fought him. Hatton was a live underdog and had a phenomenal training camp going into that fight. Hatton was a good win.

Mosley was a decent win as well. It wasn't prime Mosley, but his last fight before Floyd was a 9th round destruction of what was supposed to be the best 147 lbs fighter in the world. Yes he got old, but it was a decent win. Not great but good.

De la Hoya at 154 was still a solid fighter. Good win.

Mayweather on the contrary has done wonders for his reputation. He wanted to be the villian, and he became that. When he was still Pretty Boy Floyd, he fought more frequently but had very little drawing power. When he became "Money" Mayweather he started earning significantly more than he's ever made in his life. His PPV's are now topping the million mark and his earning power is now at it's peak. Was he more likeable before? Probably. But there is no denying that his strategy has raised his profile and therefore raised his stock as a fighter.

Look at Tim Bradley and Devon Alexander. Very little fanbase, but nonethless two very talented fighters.

Haye has grown quite the mouth but the biggest thing about Haye that makes him worse is that on 2 separate occasions he pulled out of a fight that was already signed and claimed injury. I think that's more damaging to his reputation.

I remember ESB back when Vitaly was constantly pulling out of his fight with Rahman; he was giving his detractors had all the ammo they needed to keep hating on him. Granted Vitaly's injuries may very well have been legit but it left a bad taste.

Put it this way if Haye signs on to a fight with either Klitschko, I would still be skeptical up until their ring walk.

Mayweather hasn't yet made the biggest bout that can happen.
Haye has yet to make the second biggest bout that can happen.

Mayweather didn't get in Pacquiao's face and call him out, tell him he was going to knock him out.
    Haye did with Wlad.

Both reputations are damaged, but both can still be redeemed.

That's true and why I voted that Haye's rep is the more damaged of the two.

David Haye has done nothing at Heavyweight to get excited about and it looks like he doesn't plan to either.

    Mormeck again? :rofl

Does Haye have an age restriction clause or something? "Fighter must be older than Haye's dad.................."

From a boxing point of view it has to be Haye for avoiding every ****ing time, and making up excuses!! Floyd has the benefit of the doubt...

On a personal level, Floyd's reputation may be slandered with the 8 accusations going on
