He was whinging about some other stuff as well. I don't think he's ducking Witter just seems to be throwing a bit of a hissy fit.

    Wrong.

    Arum is ducking Floyd.

Both Cotto and Floyd want the fight.

If Floyd "wanted" the fight he would call Cotto out. Floyd call's fighters out. Cotto does not has not and wont from what I have seen.

    According to the huggers.

"Cotto will fight anyone, he just lets his management decide"

Although Cotto does need to come out and say it.

When do champions call out contenders?

When did Floyd at 147 (as the champion) call out another 147?

Oh thats right, never, Hatton called him out.

And he called DLH out at 154 for DLHs title.

Cotto needs to open his mouth. He needs to call Floyd out. Not vice versa.

Cotto was not happy with Mayweather's post match interview after the Hatton fight that he wanted to retire.

No, they don't. Both are big enough names to make it happen, Arum or no Arum, if they were desperate for it. If Calzaghe managed to convince Warren to let him fight Kessler, so could Cotto, if he really wanted it. But he doesn't and neither does Floyd. They are both happy cashing in on to that "0" and pretending they are both going to become top ATG.

Cotto and PBF need each other just like Calzaghe and Kessler needed each other.:deal

Cotto is another Champion but I do see what you are getting at. Cotto doesnt call people out he just fights who is put infront of him. He has fought good quality opostition all the way through his carrier.

I hope that this fight happens so I do. Floyd does need to fight a proper welter contender though. I know Hatton was his mando but thats bull.

Even if he was to fight Quintana or Cintron. That would help being the Champion at a weight class and not defending it against the guy's who are natural in your weight class is bad....

It was Hattons second fight at Welter and he had done nothing to become the WBC number 1 conteder at WW.

Also he looked shite against Collazo, I did have him winning though. However, it ws against a guy who was proved not to be anywhere near as good as Ricky made him look by Mosley.

Ergo Ricky is not a top welter and had done nothing to become Floyds Mando, :good
