Whos ducking who? Pavlik Or Calzaghe

Probably the best argument I've heard.

Neither of them are ducking the other.

 

I'd say neither fighter is ducking one another to be honest. It will all be promotion fun and games, in the event that Pavlik gets past Hopkins and Joe gets past Jones Jr.

 

No Joe is ducking Pav. After the hopkins fight Pavlik wanted to make the fight happen. Joe decided to take roy instead and fired Frank Warren. Frank Warren was trying to have joe fight pav during that time. Joe is def ducking without question.

Its plain simple calzaghe was calling out pavlik until pavlik demolished his sparring partner in 3 rounds. thats a fact until that fight happened calzaghe wanted pavlik after the fight pavlik still called out calzaghe but calzaghe had a case of the shut mouth becasue pavlik destroyed a guy he has good sparrign sessions with.

 

Joe spent 7 months calling Pavlik out. Pavlik said yes multiple times including the statement; "I want him before he gets one day older."

Now Calzaghe says he offered Pavlik a fight in 2006, but there isn't a single shread of evidence to support that claim. The time line does not add up at all. Joe fought Lacy in April and Bika in October. Pavlik was out with a hand injury for 9 months, including the first half of 2006. In July he defended his NABF title with the 6th round KO of Bronco McKart.

So, apparently Joe claims that the guy who was fighting people like Zuniga and McKart was a viable opponent, but the kid who knocked out Miranda, knocked out Taylor and scored a UD against Taylor, is an unproven nobody. How much sense does that make?

 

Of the two, it's apparent Joe C is less interested in fighting the other.

I wouldn't be surprised if these two meet in 09. Unless JC looks REALLY **** against RJJ.

Neither, the fight just hasn't happened yet. Can we get away from "who called who out"? It proves absolutely nothing, this isn't WWF.

After all, Abraham did call out Pavlik right after Miranda...and we all know on here that once you called a guy out if he doesn't fight you within 2 weeks you're ducking :nut
