    And?

And Oscar is ducking him too to fight one of the seven dwarfs. Neither got into negotiations with him, they are duckers plain and simple by ESB definition.

Yep. Everyone on ESB knows if you don't fight a guy that called you out, you are ducking. Don't shoot the messenger.

    Pavlik is ducking Abraham.

I am quite sure the fight will be made, unless of course that Pavlik looks like **** against Hopkins and losses, which is a possibility.

But it hasn't happened yet. He's ducking, end of story.

I'll be glad if it does happen. It's time for slaphead to get knocked out, this ship needs to sink for perspective to hit home on here. - Sorry if you are reading this Kelly

Exactly! If I were interviewing Calzaghe & he stated an offer has already been made to Pavlik, I'd ask Joe why not fight Pavlik after facing Jones, providing Calzaghe defeats Jones?

What no-one has stated to Calzaghe that both he & Pavlik would be paid a lot more money to face each other than would have been the case a couple of years ago.

Calzghe has blatantly ducked Pavlik. A fight with Pavlik does way more for Joe's legacy than a bout with Jones - no one can deny this. Calzaghe has stated that its all about money & that's why he has gone after Jones.

Calzaghe's no an idiot. He knows the what Pavlik brings to the table & that is a whole lot more danger than Roy Jones will be bringing in November.

As for Enzo Calzaghe keep running his mouth off - this little fcuker nedds to shut the fcuk-up. His man Enzo got blasted out by Haye & Enzo Calzaghe came across as a very sore loser indeed. No class whatsoever.

    Lol, this again?

I've laughed at this assertion many times, thinking it to be merely way off the mark.

But I've come to the realisation in the last couple of days as both fighters seem to have embarked on the first stages of hyping a fight between them that it may not just be off the mark, it may the complete opposite of the truth.

Calzaghe, as we know, did mention both Pavlik and Jones as potential future opponents prior to the Hopkins fight. Afterwards, he didn't mention Pavlik, but there were good reasons for that with Pavlik booked for an upcoming fight with his stablemate. Then after Pavlik fought Lockett he dismissed him as an opponent and turned to Jones. Why? The logic that Calzaghe, a two weight unbeaten world champion, would have been scared by something he saw in the destruction of a boxer that was maybe not even in the top five middleweights in Britain, is bizzare to me. Either Calzaghe is a horrible judge of a fighter, or he knew exactly how good Lockett wasn't. Why would he draw negative conclusions from the performance of someone so many levels below himself?

The common wisdom has been that Calzaghe should take Pavlik this autumn and that waiting any longer would play and play in Pavlik's hands. I think that a far more likely conclusion from the Pavlik vs Lockett fight is that what Calzaghe gained from an up close look at Pavlik was a belief that he could afford to wait until next year and still beat Pavlik, there was no need to take on Pavlik immediately fearing that waiting would be a fatal mistake.

I don't know what that means. I'm messing anyway, I don't believe in this ducking garbage that gets thrown around. Unless its in extreme circumstances, such as Hatton-Witter.

I'm sure Pavlik isn't scared, but he's going to get knocked out by King Arthur regardless.

Boo Radley SPeaks the truth once again! I can see Calzaghe maybe fighting pavlik in the future once Pavlik beats Bhop more convincingly than JC did and once Taylor actually KO's Lacy and Pavlik or Taylor beat Kessler ,Joes Legacy will be nothing anymore without fighting one of these guys... so He can bad mouth american talent as much as he wants right now... but fighting media created overrated bums (lacy) , Unproven Euros (Kessler...Sartison????) , and way past thier prime americans will just have him remembered as a overprotected slapping *****. Besides in the eyes of all the JC nuthuggers who think he is some sort of god.

of course this is all hypothetical ,

Wrong - Calzaghe Says he won't fight PAvlik and makes excuses, and creates lies ..

Pavlik has always stated that he wants to unify the middleweight belts, He has never once said he won't fight Abraham . Pavlik will move back down and will beat those german bums.
