Same here I put it on the DVR. **** I still cant believe Izzy came out like a ****ing demon in the 12 round. I hope this fourth fight is atleast half as good as the third cause ill be there live.

 

I look forward to Perez - Mares more then I do Izzy & Rafa.

Yeah, I'm looking foward to this fight. I don't think it will be quite up to some of their first fights but even if its half of those it will be good. Good undercard fight with Mares-Perez as well. Nice card this Saturday.

I don't know how you can't be excited for this fight they're just matched perfectly and there styles gel together brilliantly. My favourite trilogy of them all.

 

No man, the fight is old-school. You don't get rivalries like this anymore, where two guys are so evenly matched, and the styles are so complimentary of each other that you are almost guaranteed a great fight. The biggest rivalries we have now consist of years-long posturing and negotiating in stead of ACTUAL fighting.

And who gives a **** if they are "old" or whatever, they are both still in good shape... both passing physicals, and both are motivated to win. If these two guys decided to fight only each other for the rest of their careers, Rafa and Izzy make great money and great fights and the fans win. Unlike a lot of "superfights" that we've been getting that don't even come close to living up to the hype.

And if you decide to miss this extremely entertaining and exciting "travesty," its only you that loses.
